Shika Shika is proud to present Campo de Cielo, a collaboration between Coro Qom Chelaalapi and producer Lagartijeando. The release celebrates the 60th anniversary of the indigenous choir from Northwest Argentina, making it the longest-running continuously active musical group in Latin America. 

Following their first release together in 2019, Campo del Cielo marks the second collaboration between the choir and producer Matias Zundel. The EP offers 3 tracks produced by Lagartijeando that experiment with Qom traditional sounds within the context of organic electronic downtempo. To complement this, Campo del Cielo includes 3 original unedited recordings of Coro Qom Chelaalapi, recorded by Lagartijeando in Resistencia, Chaco. 

About Campo del Cielo: 
Campo del Cielo (Field of the Sky) refers to a vast region of northern Argentina located in the Southern Chaco, bordering the provinces of Chaco y Santiago del Estero, that was struck by an iron meteor shower approximately 4000 years ago - the results of an asteroid exploding upon entering the Earth’s atmosphere.

Shika Shika is a global collective without owners for music without borders. 

We are inspired by nature, by tradition, by the past and by the future. Our direction is fresh, different, genre hopping organic-electronic-digital-folk.

DJ Rouni, c’est plus de 10 ans au service des platines pour un parcours riche d’expérience. Amoureux de la Musique sous toutes ses formes, il malaxe sans limite les tempos durant ses lives et ravit son public à travers des mash-up improbables inspirés de tout son univers musical.

Artiste incontournable de la scène genevoise, il se mets d’abord en lumière à travers un concept novateur alliant Electro Swing, Ghetto Funk & Bass Music, enchaînant les scènes aux côtés d’inspirations telles que Gramatik, Caravan Palace, Smokey Joe & The Kid ou Tha Trickaz, dans des festivals tels que Let It Roll, Antigel ou encore Caribana. En 2017, il sort un EP de quatre titres, signant une tournée européenne à travers Barcelone, Londres, Budapest, Salzburg, Marseilles, Pragues, Berlin, Manchester et Hambourg. 

En parallèle, il élargit son spectre musical à l’événementiel privé, où il adapte ses choix musicaux en fonction de la demande, et quitte les spotlights à partir de 2019 pour se concentrer sur le management de structure culturelle, tout en travaillant dans l’ombre un concept qui fera la sève d’une nouvelle identité musicale. 

En 2022, il reprend le chemin de la scène, inspiré de ses origines latines, pour répandre une nouvelle mixité des genres à travers la Musique Tropical, Disco et Techno, sur les ondes de Couleur 3 et avec des premières représentations à la Gravière, aux Bains des Pâquis et à Paléo Festival.
