Laurier has been producing for a long time. The things he sees and experiences are sonically translated using diverse instruments and methods, creating an atmospheric, almost film-like style to his sound. Blue EP is nothing short of this raw and unfiltered style, offering a more electronic approach to the melancholic scenery he naturally portrays. It is time to shine a light on these beautiful yet mysterious tracks.

PREMIERE : Laurier - Youth

In this segment Keith Thornborough explains how the homes in Laurier were annexed into South River.

South River Seniors Telling Their Stories is a community-made collection of stories, anecdotes, aural history and reminiscences told by Seniors who live in South River, Ontario.

The stories were collected in a weekly storytelling circle at The South River Friendly Circle and are broadcast on NAISA Radio every Saturday at 1 pm. The stories are also available as a podcast or as individual audio segments on @naisa

“South River Seniors Telling Their Stories” is produced by New Adventures in Sound Art as part of the South River Storytelling Project for Seniors. The project is funded by the Government of Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors program.

New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA) is a Canadian non-profit organization that produces performances and installations spanning the entire spectrum of electroacoustic and experimental sound art. Included in its productions are: Deep Wireless, Sound Travels, Cross Waves and SOUNDplay. 
NAISA's Soundcloud page features the Deep Wireless online compilations. recordings of past performances, and select editions of its Making Waves radio program for WGXC at the Wavefarm in Acra, NY.
