We finish up with the exquisite audience recording of 4/24/69 with Led Zeppelin at the Fillmore West. I play the last two unplayed songs on the recording, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, and White Summer/Black Mountainside. Both are hungry young Zeppelin on the rise. Good stuff.

A Shower Of Flowers

We hear three songs from Led Zeppelin playing in Liverpool on Jan. 14, 1973. I use the second source of this show and I play a medley filled, bluesy Whole Lotta Love, a frenetic Heartbreaker, and a gut punchingly powerful performance of The Ocean (which the audience was hearing for the first time, as it'd not been released yet). Fun fun fun. Enjoy.

This week hear a gem from JEMS; a wonderful recording of Led Zeppelin at the LA Forum on May 31, 1973 (Bonzo's Birthday), from Barry Goldstein's excellent master tape. 
The atmosphere is brilliant as are the performances. I play a chill and evocative No Quarter, followed by a flawless Dazed and Confused. A great upgrade!

This song was orignally a Bob Dylan influenced acoustic song but while recording it became more like a Deep Purple rock song. That's my mistake, I take responsibility for it... Still there are references to Tombstone Blues and Blowing in the Wind that cannot be overheard. In this song the "How many" questions are a bit more desolate though: the son living in a gaming chair, the wife always searching for her antidepressants and the "me" person in the basement checking if the rope will hold. And when the sun stops glowing, everyone will die...

We hear a very nice matrix of Led Zeppelin in Long Beach  on March 11, 1975. The sources are the exquisite Mike Millard audience recording, coupled with the soundboard to create a truly glorious sounding concert. 
I play Sick Again, Trampled Underfoot, and a sweet marathon Dazed, all of which sound fantastic. A very nice show indeed.

MOON SUG4R Originally started as a side project forged by Built up inspiration from lack of Social interaction that would normally be spent at music and art Gatherings.
MOON SUG4R was sort of built on it's sound rather than the trials most artist go through finding their sound which is a fun way to go about it. The song "TR4VELLER" Was Originally a Fryguy project experimenting with Jungle and future elements. Happy accidents lead to a Halftime drop that sounded out of this world and was soon taken under the new Handle MOON SUG4R. 
Most of the songs have psychedelic cosmic bass elements and usually range from (but not limited to) 80 bpm to 90 bpm.
Odd methods of recording and random sampling is a part of my process throughout all my Projects but MOON SUG4R utilizes those methods the most (if you only knew all the things I played slide guitar with?) MOON SUG4R Has a wayz to go before the peak and that's exciting to me. I hope my music brings you even more excitement!
