Our next release is a very special full length by our very own Opus Occvltiis. This release is comprised of 4 emotional yet hard-hitting club cuts crafted lovingly over the last year. The first half of the record is an onslaught of dark industrial might - heavy, yet exquisitely sound designed material made to shake sound systems. As the record progresses into it's second half, evocative trance synths and silkier soundscapes start to creep in, punctuated by two distinct remixes of the title track by long-time label friends Kalathos and Zyryab, which mirror the two sound identities that inhabit this record.

Our next premiere is a spacious trip from @mukherjeee, on their new release 'Glass'. 'Uddo' spans several depths of left field and delirious down tempo. A constant swirl of evolving tones  providing a brilliant balance of light and dark moods.

Glass, the new EP by Ishan Mukherjee, is a tribute to creative freedom and an intentional break from structure and rhythm. Letting go of beats and predictable patterns, Ishan dives deep into a world of meditative soundscapes that blur genre lines and focus on feeling over form. The EP was born during his time in Goa, where he travelled light with a portable analog setup, Korg Volca Keys, Artiphon Orba, an acoustic guitar, all patched into a Zoom H5 recorder. Improvisation was at the heart of the process. Without a DAW or metronome to guide him, Ishan captured raw, spontaneous ideas in real time.

Goa itself seeped into the music. Field recordings of monsoon rains, quiet forest walks, and hushed conversations became part of the sonic fabric, making the landscape an unseen collaborator. When Ishan returned to his studio in Hyderabad, those sessions began to evolve. The studio turned into a space of playful experimentation as sounds were stretched, reversed, granulated and the line between music and memory started to blur. Ishan describes the EP as “a map of contradictions… like watching the ocean swallow a storm.”

For this release, a selection of instrumental tracks has been chosen, ranging from experiments created years ago to some created more recently. The common thread between them is the compositional everchanging smoothness, erotic rhythms, the comfort of etheric synthesizers, and dubbed out live instruments. These tracks selected highlight the deepest, most hypnotic, and mystical dance rituals that Ranga offers us.

The album's title, Past Life, refers to the feelings and ideas that were circulating when the tracks were created, but also to how it feels to look back at old music and the old selves who created it. There is an unsettling but tempting feeling about the future for the artist. The tracks selected for this release are those that he always listened to without really knowing where they came from or where they were going, as he is still surprised to this day that he created them. They do not resemble Ranga's previous music, but rather, for him, they are music of the future.
