Todd shared some field stories about data collecting with language barriers in Russia and ways the team is trained to address client concerns about giving up their most sensitive personal data. Todd gave us a backstage view of the technology the team is using to detect deep fakes at scale, and also, some practical tips for the humans among us to discern fake audio, video and text. Nesse episódio é analisado o estudo "Better Bill GPT: Comparando Grandes Modelos de Linguagem com Revisores de Faturas Legais" investiga a eficácia de Grandes Modelos de Linguagem (LLMs) na revisão de faturas legais, um processo tradicionalmente manual e propenso a inconsistências. 

Ele compara a precisão, velocidade e custo-benefício de LLMs com revisores humanos, incluindo advogados experientes e iniciantes, e profissionais de operações legais. 

Os resultados demonstram que os LLMs superam significativamente os humanos em todas as métricas, alcançando maior precisão na identificação de itens não conformes, revisando faturas drasticamente mais rápido e reduzindo os custos de processamento em mais de 99%. 

A pesquisa argumenta que a era da gestão de gastos legais impulsionada por LLMs já chegou, sugerindo uma mudança de paradigma na forma como os departamentos jurídicos operarão, apesar dos desafios de adoção e da necessidade de equilibrar a automação com o julgamento humano.

Episódio 15 - IA x Humanos: O Duelo na Revisão de Faturas Jurídicas – Precisão, Velocidade e Custo Decifrados!

Nesse episódio avaliamos a pesquisa que apresentou o LegalScore, um novo índice para avaliar o desempenho de modelos de inteligência artificial generativa em exames jurídicos de carreira no Brasil. 

O estudo compara quatorze modelos de IA, tanto proprietários quanto de código aberto, em questões objetivas de concursos públicos federais e do Exame da OAB. 

Os resultados indicam que, embora modelos proprietários e mais conhecidos apresentem melhor desempenho geral, modelos menores treinados com dados específicos do contexto brasileiro mostram resultados promissores. 

A pesquisa enfatiza a necessidade de conjuntos de dados e treinamento adaptados ao português e à complexidade do sistema jurídico brasileiro para que a IA possa se aproximar ou superar o desempenho humano em avaliações legais avançadas. 

O estudo conclui que, atualmente, a IA serve como uma ferramenta complementar para preparação de candidatos e auxiliar na criação de exames.

O relatório de benchmarking avalia o desempenho de advogados humanos e 13 ferramentas de inteligência artificial — tanto modelos de propósito geral quanto soluções jurídicas especializadas — na elaboração de contratos. 

Os achados indicam que as principais ferramentas de IA igualaram ou superaram os advogados na produção de rascunhos iniciais confiáveis, especialmente em velocidade, mas os humanos mantiveram uma ligeira vantagem na utilidade da produção devido ao melhor julgamento comercial e contextual. 

Curiosamente, o estudo revela que a integração do fluxo de trabalho na plataforma, como a compatibilidade com o Microsoft Word, é o principal fator de diferenciação e adoção para as ferramentas de IA jurídica especializada, e não apenas a precisão bruta da saída. 

Conclui-se que o futuro da redação jurídica será um modelo híbrido que combina a velocidade da IA com o julgamento humano e a transparência.
