Dirtbox Recordings proudly returns with the sixth instalment of its heavyweight Rock N Rollerz series, a project dedicated entirely to the driving sounds of rolling drum and bass and jungle.

Over the past five episodes, Rock N Rollerz has become a flagship platform for showcasing the core energy of the scene, and Episode 6 is no exception.

This time, we welcome none other than Jinx, a true Birmingham stalwart and pillar of the UK drum and bass movement.

Having been deeply rooted in the city’s rave culture since 1995, Jinx has carved out an unmistakable sound; raw, heavy, and unapologetically rolling. 

Beyond his long-standing connection to the Second City’s underground, Jinx also runs his own
imprint, Straight Up Audio, and boasts an impressive catalogue of releases on some of the biggest labels in the game including Sony Music, Bassrush, Anjuna, Ruffneck Ting, Foundation, Born On Road, Jungle Cakes, and Liondub to name just a few.

His four-track debut on Dirtbox Recordings sees him distil decades of experience into one of his most accomplished works to date. 

Each track captures a different facet of his style while staying true to the roots of jungle and rolling drum and bass. Opening with “Rage,” Jinx drops relentless Amens and chest-rattling basslines, setting the tone for what’s to come. “Call Me The Boss” steps in with attitude, blending commanding vocal samples and tight percussion to create a dancefloor destroyer
built for the sound system.

“Our World” takes things deeper with a hypnotic groove, heavy low-end pressure, and soulful vocal snippets that nod to the golden era of jungle. Closing the release, “Grunge” brings pure fire, fusing distorted bass textures, chopped breaks, and layered vocal cuts that perfectly capture the raw, forward-driving energy Jinx is known for.

Having graced the decks at our debut Rock N Rollerz event in Birmingham back in 2022, Jinx’s
connection to the brand runs deep. This latest release cements that bond and showcases his mastery in translating the energy of the rave into pure sonic form.

With Rock N Rollerz Vol. 6, Jinx delivers the sound of Birmingham to the world; fierce, forward-thinking, and full of groove. Each tune is loaded with Amens, weighty basslines, and the kind of vocal flair that defines the modern jungle movement. This one’s strictly for the heads.

TRCD moved through the undercity like a shadow. Neon veins ran across the walls, pulsing with the heartbeat of a city that had long stopped caring. 

The ghost signal from Esym lingered in his neural implants, a faint echo pointing him forward: the Vortex. The gateway that could send him back, back to the time before the Cells Interlinked cyber unit had risen, before their half-human, half-machine hands had reshaped the world into chaos.

Every tier of the city was a puzzle of firewalls and security drones, each step a gamble against AI enforcers that remembered every trespass. TRCD had learned to move between them, masking his presence with fragments of old code, stolen from the systems Esym had left behind. 

The Vortex wasn’t a place you found on a map, it existed in the folds between networks, at the intersection of forgotten tech and raw energy.

He paused at the edge of an abandoned data tower, its upper floors shattered, sky barely visible
through jagged steel. Here, according to fragmented logs, the first traces of the Vortex had been
detected, where the Cells Interlinked had experimented with temporal compression. 

TRCD tapped into the console embedded in the wall. The interface flared, holograms folding into his retina display. Streams of data scrolled like rain, whispers of the past trapped in code.

A warning flashed: unauthorized access. TRCD’s implants flared, forcing him to dive into the maintenance ducts as a patrol of autonomous Sentinels swept the floor below. He could hear their mechanical limbs clanking, scanners piercing the shadows. One wrong move and the timeline could collapse, erasing everything he had tried to preserve.

At last, in the core of the tower, he found it: a lattice of pulsating energy, twisting metal and plasma into a doorway that shimmered between moments. The Vortex. It smelt of ozone and old circuits, alive with possibilities. 

TRCD’s hand hovered over the interface, the code of the Cells Interlinked etched in his memory. One wrong entry, and he could doom more than himself. One correct sequence, and he could undo decades of manipulation, restore the lives stolen by the half-human AI warlords... He took a breath.

And then the Vortex shuddered. Something from the future, or what remained of it was trying to
step through before him.

TRCD returns to his home base, VTO Records, for what has now become a yearly tradition. 

As label owner, he closes out each year with a powerful statement piece that captures the essence of his sound and marks another milestone in the TRCD story.

The Vortex is a fierce yet melodic neurofunk weapon, twisting listeners into its high-energy swirl of raw emotion. Already tested on dancefloors to stunned reactions and praised by fellow producers, this track cements TRCD’s status as a force in the scene and a fitting finale to another unforgettable year on VTO Records.

December 1st. We say goodbye to one of our most innovative projects to date.

In 2023 Lee UHF & Shayper came up with `The Tape Pack Project`

This was a series of releases by 1 artist spanning 12 months creating a body of work to be proud of and build consistant releaes throughout that time.

12 releases, 12 months. All on the first of every month and all 3 series of this project over the past couple of years have been monumental to say the least.

Born and raised in Singapore, Anny first stumbled upon drum and bass as a university student in London where she is now based. As a classically trained grade 8 pianist, music has always played an integral part of her life, but her real turning point into drum and bass was the first time she went to the (then) annual Virus London show at the Steel Yard many years ago. She was instantly captivated by the dark dramatic sounds and the unique energy of the dancefloor, and she knew right then that Neurofunk would be her home.

Since her DJ debut in 2023, Anny has quickly captured the attention of the scene with her relentless sets and deep selection, as well as her numerous initiatives that have helped to nurture the local underground scene. Today, she is best known for her latest endeavour - Valkyrie. Moving hot off their recent takeover at the 2025 Virus London show - a full circle moment for Anny - Valkyrie is a new name in Neurofunk ready to take the scene by storm. 

This mix is Anny’s interpretation of what Korsakov represents - hard hitting, high energy but most importantly, fun bangers!
