My passion for electronic music goes back to when I was twelve when I started to take a deeper interest in my tastes... So, I decided to buy one of Laurent Garnier's albums, I don't regret anything! My influences range from this one to Daft Punk through all Retro House and the Bonzai label. I was also touched by composers like Push or Emmanuel Top. I think I am relatively eclectic in the evolution of my compositions, I do not camp in a specific style while remaining turned towards TECHNO, TRANCE and ACID. Through my compositions I always try to tell a story... I am 43 years old, I come from Liège and I am a sociologist by training.

My music is influenced by many genres including jazz, soul, funk, and electro. My latest compositions are a step deeper into this AI experiment, and I’m honestly thrilled with where it’s going. Using  AI, I’ve been playing with new genres and textures—stuff I might not have tackled on my own. These tracks feel like a blend of my instincts and the AI’s knack for polishing ideas into something fresh. Each one’s a little snapshot of what’s been sparking my imagination lately, from dreamy synth vibes to punchier beats. I’m not chasing perfection here, just sounds that hit me right. After being part of the talented DJ duo Modus Operandi for 10 years, Jonas launched his solo project in 2019, He chose to do so under his own name with the main reason to create more individuality in his productions and mixes.

Belgian DJ and rising producer Jonas Dufrasne is steadily making a name for himself, drawing attention from key figures in the industry with his distinctive and refined take on electronic music. 

From a young age, Jonas displayed a natural passion for music. At just 12, he began exploring the world of sound, and by 18, he was captivated by electronic dance music. Although too young to attend all the club nights, he quickly found himself drawn to the House scene—a genre that sparked a deep and undeniable calling.

He began by experimenting with various styles and projects, gradually honing his craft. Inspired by renowned producers and DJs, Jonas's dedication and unique flair soon set him apart. His evolving sound and unwavering commitment now place him among the promising talents to watch.
