Live To Inspire

What you are really asking is, how do you know if it's Krishna's plan or if you are doing something wrong? So that you may not know immediately. As Radhika Raman pointed out in his class about prayers, he said that when Hiraṇyakaśipu was trying to kill Prahlāda, one of the ways he tried to do that was to throw him over a cliff. He said, “Kṛṣṇa caught him at the bottom, not at the top.” And in a similar way, as we go through various situations in our life, we wonder whether they are providential,  they are an intervention by God, or because I messed up somehow. At first, we may not know. 

We may have to have faith that Kṛṣṇa will catch us at the bottom. But that’s why we have 'tat te ’nukampāṁ su-samīkṣamāṇo,' when one is able to position oneself in such a way as to accept whatever comes. This is a categorical statement: 'tat te ’nukampāṁ su-samīkṣamāṇo bhuñjāna evātma-kṛtaṁ vipākam.' Just accept categorically that whatever is happening is by Kṛṣṇa’s arrangement. And then you may come to know, as Prabhupāda in his lecture on Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākur’s disappearance day, he did several, but in one of them, he’s talking about the various setbacks he had in trying to follow his spiritual master, and then he’s pointing out, “But look, this is what it brought me to.” And he had a series of statements prefaced by, “Who knew? Who knew that my coming to America would result in this? Who knew?” And Prabhupāda had pointed out in his lecture that he had reversals. He lost his business, he was gored by a cow, he was kicked out of his league of devotees, and so forth. He was thinking back, “Who knew? Who knew? Who knew what? This was Kṛṣṇa’s plan.” So it’s difficult when these things come up, and we have to fortify ourselves by hearing śāstra and also take the shelter of godbrothers.I was once in managing a project..

This is a deeply personal track.

Ten years ago, I lost my fiancé to cancer—she was just 19, I was 21. I always wanted a black balloon tattoo, a symbol of grief I carried with me, but I couldn’t get it until I was ready to truly face and release that pain.

“Float With Me” is the story of what that grief became—how it shaped me, how I’ve learned to carry her memory, and how I’ve grown over the years. It’s about love, loss, and finally finding a way to move forward while keeping her with me.

August has been a month of sharpening edges and softening where it matters. In this entry, I reflect on what it means to grow in the quiet—measuring myself not against others, but against yesterday’s version of me, and showing up better today.
This episode is about becoming: about learning patience, trusting timing, choosing decisions over hesitation, and letting actions speak louder than words. It’s about understanding that sometimes the quiet work shifts more than the loudest effort ever could.

"Listen Up" (Released August 2022)is a piece of advice I wish I had. It's a story about navigating life, frenemies, chasing a dream, trusting your gut, etc. I pouring life experiences into these bars over a soulful and reflective beat (provoking thoughts), hoping it connects with shared experiences.
