My latest song, 'Pidiendo por más tiempo,' originally started as an instrumental piece deeply rooted in the Delta Blues tradition. Armed with just my acoustic guitar and the rhythmic accompaniment of foot tapping and hand clapping, I aimed to capture the raw, unfiltered essence of blues music.

As the piece evolved, it gained lyrics that delve into the fleeting nature of life and the inevitability of time running out. The song opens with the misconception that we have all the time in the world, a belief that's shattered as the verses progress.
