LIGHTS OUT opens a new chapter. We are launching a new radiocast series where you can discover mixes from our guests and friends. The first mix was recorded by the very talented Ukrainian producer, AIKON.🇺🇦 This summer, he performed in Kaunas with Kölsch. Take your time and enjoy this beautiful mix, which features some very cool unreleased tracks.

Ukrainian producer/dj AIKON has been making waves with a steady stream of acclaimed releases, dropping records on labels such as Diynamic, Multinotes, Disco Halal, Exploited & Monaberry. His music is a haunting, hypnotic mix of melodic house, breakbeats with a slight twist of a little afro vibes in there. Solomun, Dixon, AME, Pete Tong, Black Coffee, Sasha, John Digweed and Keinemusik are regular supporters of his tracks and are usually the first ones to test his new demos to a large audience. This has led to new song collaborations with Re.You , Pongo, Sobek, Radeckt. Aikon tracks break records top charts beatport and now Aikon is in the top Indie Dance and Electronica artists Beatport many years. Hawkdream is a live instrumental music project founded by Brian Brown, who is a talented musician from the UK. He creates some of the coolest spacey synth music out there! He started out in 2012 and so far has released over 17 Hawkdream albums. The music of Hawkdream has layers upon layers of diverse, spatial ambience. There is also some really cool Tangerine Dream elements interwoven at times. Anyone digging Kitaro or Vangelis will also dig this music! In our opinion, there seems to be an overall feeling of Nature flowing with the Earth as one, a true essence of serenity merging with the dark waves of time.

AstroConnect.
 AstroConnect is Brian Brown (HawkDream) and
Manny Leigh. Brian is located in the UK and Manny is in
the US northwest, almost 5000 miles apart. AstroConnect is
an electronic duo performing mostly ambient, some Berlin
style and sometimes a little neurotic chaos for your
listening pleasure.
 All AstroConnect music is recorded 100% live via the
Internet no overdubs. We don't rehearse. We may have a
simple idea and just get to it, maybe choose a chord
progression. The recorded tracks are all improvised on the
spot.
 Brian performs Synth Voodoo on his bank of
synthesizers including a Roland Jupiter 80, Yamaha Motive
7, Motive 6, EX7, CS1X(x2). Manny primarily uses a
Yamaha WX5 Wind controller and sometimes throws in
some keyboard controller stuff, maybe some guitar, both
midi and magnetic. Often it gets so deep that nobody
knows who is playing what. It all just flows together into
one great track. This is the essence of playing 100% LIVE
half a world apart.  AstroConnect started playing live in 2013, the tracks
were limited to mono only, so some of the effects were a
little weak. This was due to internet limitations and
hardware deficiencies. In the summer of 2014 Manny
added more hardware and worked out the process of
recording in high quality stereo. AstroConnect hopes the
sound is now up to your headphone listening standards.
Please don't forget this is all recorded 100% live almost
5000 miles apart, that's why were called AstroConnect!

Such compliments Donatello has been accustomed to hear not only from Lithuania’s progressive house music fans, but also from international DJ guests. “Amounts of enthusiasm and uncontrollable energy exuding from his sets remind me about beginning of my own career. He has EVERY trait needed for a DJ. I mean - an impressive DJ” – claims UK producer Clive Henry (PEACE DIVISION), along whose side Donatello played in club EXIT (Kaunas, Lithuania). Donatello was hand picked to represent the best so far promoters’ agency in Lithuania - ATARI. And ATARI guys don’t joke around: the founder of the agency – best Lithuanian DJ, bearing international recognition Ignas i.v. was lately spotted performing with Nick Warren in Hamburg and playing with The Prodigy in Vilnius. During the past overcrowded months on clubbers’ agendas Donatello became an unofficial resident of the ATARI ORIGINAL nights in club Galaxy, Vilnius. One of the biggest Lithuanian venues was absolutely packed with over 1500 clubbers/ enthusiasts each and every time gagging for more from Satoshi Tomiie (Japan), G Pal & Anna Maria (Greece), Scott Bradford (LEXICON AVENUE,UK), Anthony Pappa (UK), Matthew Roberts (KING UNIQUE, UK) and others.. Donatello never gets an easy get away from the audience; hence he’s been very busy playing in Kaunas club EXIT (awarded as the best club of Lithuania twice). After a few years of professional diversity at the beginning of his DJ path, Donatello has perfected various burning mixtures of tech house, progressive and techno.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is an intimate collection of artists exploring a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave, and Experimental World Pop. Collectively, this is known as QUIRKPOP — music that pushes the creative limits of traditional pop.

Expect an unpredictable journey through sound, emotion, and humor, where genres collide and pop bends in strange new ways. Each song is conceived, composed, and performed with total sincerity, whether it’s built from voices, instruments, software, or hybrid experimentation. The focus is on the music itself: if it resonates, it resonates. No explanation required.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
