Vestige: Liminal Ambient is a sonic relic from the in-between, where memory dissolves into mist and music hovers just beyond the veil of form. Crafted by RVS, a producer celebrated for his devotion to atmospheric nuance, this pack invites you into a weightless world suspended between presence and absence. Its textures feel unearthed rather than composed, as though salvaged from the echoes of dreams or half-remembered film scenes. Each sound is designed to evoke that fleeting sensation of something beautiful just out of reach.

At the core of the collection are a set of atmospheric pad loops, each one a drifting monolith of tone and time. These pads create space, carving out emotional depth within any mix. Whether you’re building slow-burning ambient compositions or weaving delicate backdrops for liquid drum & bass, these sounds act like emotional scaffolding: subtle, supportive, and wholly transportive. They shimmer, stretch, and decay with organic imperfections that feel more like natural phenomena than digital constructs.

Complementing these pads are melody and bass loops that tread the line between melodic clarity and textural haze. The included melodic phrases range from washed-out keyboard motifs to glassy synth arpeggios - tonal fragments that suggest narrative without imposing it. Meanwhile, the bass loops offer low-end grounding without weight, humming with warmth and restraint. These are not typical driving basslines but rather sculpted currents of resonance, built for compositions that favour space over density.

Rounding out the pack are ambience and experimental FX, totalling 30 hand-crafted layers of sonic context and unpredictability. These include distant field recordings, shifting sweeps, and subtly glitched textures - elements that function as bridges between emotion and environment.

Guided Levitation is an ongoing selection of sound design works that emerged as a form of daily spiritual practice — a way to maintain balance within the volatility of my own mental landscape. The project began to take shape in the first half of 2025, amidst my grief over the passing of David Lynch — an artist whose work has long served as a beacon in the dark depths of the subconscious, where we, as artists, draw the imagery that becomes the foundation for expressions transcending our individual selves and ambitions.

Through art, these forms find new life — shaping and inspiring others, especially fellow artists. For David Lynch, music and sound design were essential aspects of creation. I share this belief, and thus I allow the music and sound pieces from Guided Levitation to be used freely in films and other creative works, provided proper credit is given.
