Found this amazing bar (Exotic Hive) whilst having an explore on Koh Tao. The view is incredible looking out over the ocean. The owner is a legend and set up these speakers and decks for me. Mix turned out really well despite a brief power cut (spot the edit ;) ), me sweating so much i could use the jog wheel and a lot of persistent bugs. Koh Tao is paradise and so happy I got a mix recorded here. Watch the boats in the background :D

Started in 90's in Hip Hop band. From Hip Hop through Rock, Metal, Techno, Rave I've got to Drum'n'Bass and have got in love with this music. In my work I mix all genres to get unparalleled and unique style and sound.

A musical nomad.

Inspired by different genres of electronic music, Shubham Singh aka Bef Mi8, started producing electronic music at the age of 14, post 7 years, he has produced multi-genre tracks under his alias and hits for artist all across the globe, earning him recognition from major  artists and international labels like Warner Music, Sony Music & others.
2014, at the age of 15, Bef Mi8 started his career with a track called “Basant Ritu” getting him recognition from his personal idol and inspiration DJ Afrojack and his label Wall recordings and on top of that getting in touch with Sony Music, next year he released “Meluha” that got him recognised by KSHMR and his label Dharma recordings after which he started producing records for multiple artists & Djs across the globe which got him recognised by international music labels like Warner Music(Warner Bros.) & others.
From 2017-19, Bef released multiple tracks including Cushty, Dusk & Falling in multiple genres under his moniker, getting him featured in the Spotify India‘s New Music Friday playlist and on major youtube channels like Terror Nation, Turban Trap getting the tracks thousands of streams and his merch getting sold out twice.
In 2020, Bef is about to release his dream project called ‘Yaad‘ which features a sample from his late grandpa back from 2007.
Yaad is set to release on 22nd May.
