To say who can enter and who will be dropped. 
Your face may well fit
Though you can’t write for shit,
If with the arselickers you’ve dined and you’ve supped.
The festival wheel
Brings all hopefuls to heel,
As it trundles the country with its joie de vivre;
And those sainted few 
Who pass judgement on you
Behind smiles and plaudits will ask you to leave.

So next year she will try
In sweet aughnacloy
Where the  ‘Arts’ are more seriously taken.
She will enter again, 
By the sweat of her pen
And not feel so apart, nor forsaken.
