Experimental, fun and humorous at its core with (surprisingly) some good electronic industrial jazz house gems being dropped from time to time, hence.... The 'Mank' series is born.

This song is a percussive improvisation.  A portal to a celestial world. Acoustic Kalimba, Frame Drum and Riq rhythm with a driving synth sub Kick and other sound design elements. 
An organic fusion of percussive and ethereal elements.

The name Shambala is inspired by the Tibetan Buddhist mythical celestial place of peace, silence, and radiant joy.

Marcus McMillan is a Carbondale, Colorado based musician in the Roaring Fork Valley.  His music consists of ambient dance grooves which rely on heavy instrumentals, and improvisation.  His experimental sound utilizes elements of jazz, funk, psychedelic and hip-hop, while using loopers and drum sequencers in live performance.
