Pulsating Synths that act just as charged as the couples Love story IN this track, of finding light where there is darkness, of finding purpose where there seems none, makes this work of Music not only a Track FROM the Heart but also FOR the Dancefloor.

After years of listening to free party music like hardtek and acidcore, Acidheaven (@acidheavenn) has been DJing for over two years and since then has not stopped playing in different renowned European clubs and festivals such as Sónar, Rex Club, Ankali, Sónar, Ulica Elektryków, OXI Club or Razzmatazz. Her sets, unpredictable and full of freshness, embrace an infinite number of genres, going through the most classic house, acid, r&b, UKG, to the most percussive techno, which can be seen in her HÖR or Refuge Wolrdwide showcases. 

The Canarian artist living in Berlin is one of the most interesting emerging profiles of the electronic scene in Spain. Her work as co-founder of the MAREO collective together with 8kitoo and Chico Blanco, where they bet on dance music without prejudices, betting on local talent, such as her B2BBS project together with Buganvilia and Niki Lauda, demonstrate this.

Berlin label and collective Live From Earth crew does things its own way. And it works. Over the past ten years, the team has become a major force in the city, mixing a killer ear for techno and house with a sense of humour and pop sensibility that has proven irresistible to audiences and scenes around the world. That's why we chose Live From Earth for our latest cover story: its DIY attitude, humble origins and tenacious spirit are everything we love about underground dance music.

Accompanying the cover story, this RA Podcast features a recording of a live back-to-back between two of the label's chief artists, DJ Gigola and MCR-T (the latter of whom has produced some of Live From Earth's biggest hits, including horsegiirL's "My Barn My Rules"). The hour-plus recording makes for a handy microcosm of the label's sound, rushing through contemporary and vintage techno with plenty of raunchy vocal samples and hip-hop a capellas. It's blazing but never too hard, catchy but never predictable. Above all, it's fun—the group's guiding principle.

"Humans think they're top of the hierarchy." The Live From Earth member talks about growing up in Sunshine Farms, the perils of competition in the music industry and how TikTok changed her career.

You might know horsegiirL from her horse mask, her viral singles on TikTok or her hugely popular online videos. The DJ and producer—who famously never breaks character—has launched into popularity over the past two years, bringing her frenetic and contemporary style of hardstyle-meets-Europop mash-ups to dance floors around the world. Her fans, or "farmies," go crazy for her music, donning cowboy hats and pitchforks at all of her shows.

In this episode of the RA Exchange, horsegiirL sits down with senior producer Chloe Lula to talk about her upbringing in Sunshine Farms and the key differences between the animal kingdom and the human world. They also discuss her involvement with the Berlin-based label Live From Earth Klub, an irreverent art and DJ collective featured as part of our latest cover story.
