We had a quick run through of four covers then spent the rest of the session concentrating on some original songs.

This is just a rehearsal but I threw the tracks from the 16 Track Recorder into GarageBand and did a quick reference mix for us to listen back to and for anyone else for that matter!

Time4Trance 419 - Part 2 (Liveset by Misja Helsloot)

I've just found this recording from March 2020, right before Covid hit. This is an outtake from the STATIONS album, 'Tantrums Imminent' which was recorded at this time before we knew about the ensuing pandemic. The recordings were later mixed and the album was made remotely in Lockdown. This track didn't make the cut as it didn't fit with the sound of the rest of the album which was VERY experimental. However, years later STATIONS has started turning to more acoustic compositions and songs like this. So in a way it was a precurser for what was to come. Little did we know.

This was a totally improvised and live take recorded at the time on an old Fostex LR16 multitrack recorder and roughly mixed in GarageBand. I've resisted the urge to remaster it or mess about with it in any way. It is as it was done back in 2020.

The album art / thumbnail is a picture taken on March 12th, 2020, around the time this recording was made, if not indeed on that same day.
