As we journey through the Haze, we remember home. This release is deeply rooted in dubstep and trap, but uses those roots as a launch-pad to the outer realms of musicality. As we adventure from a small basement studio in Philadelphia to hazy dance-floors around the country, this EP documents that journey through sound, exploring the intersections of bass music with house, jazz, world music, and idm through searing guitar riffs, ethereal synths and powerful drums, and is definitely the closest we've ever been to realizing the vision of this project.

Output sent to the Zoom MS-70CDR and recorded live directly to the Tascam digital recorder. Oscillators, LFO and attenuators adjusted live to conduct this electronic orchestra.

The 6 song demo, "Junct" by Drive To Space, showcases a vibrant fusion of genres, seamlessly blending progressive rock with elements of funk, reggae, Americana, and bluegrass. Each track is characterized by intricate tempo shifts and key changes that create a dynamic listening experience, while the band’s tight jams and well-crafted material are enhanced by their signature three-part vocal harmonies. The improvisational sections invite spontaneity, allowing the musicians to explore their creativity and chemistry, resulting in a cohesive yet eclectic sound that captivates listeners from start to finish.

thisissami is a live electronic artist who takes audiences on completely improvised journeys, most often using loopers. He also curates and facilitates improvised jams with a huge variety of artists.

Once a student at the Rhode Island School of Design burning the midnight oil in the studio with a soundtrack always in the background, Sam has since forged his inspirations from jazz fusion, funk, and future beats into a style of bass music known to captivate audiences with a spectacle of mesmerizing detail and high resolution sound design. 5AM’s music merges worlds as it expertly weaves electronic production and live instrumentation through creative processing and meticulous mixing. To bring his journey full circle, Sam has expanded his project to form the 5AM Trio, a collaboration complete with live drumming from ZONE Drums (Aaron Harel) and guitar, bass, and pads from Keith Wadsworth. 5AM has soared to new heights, becoming the first electronic music producer to perform at the historic Kings Theatre in New York City for the sold-out Tipsgiving. 5AM is now a seasoned performer who's shared the stage with Tipper, Shpongle, Jade Cicada, kLL sMTH, Detox Unit, Kalya Scintilla, Random Rab, and more, and lived and built strong roots up and down the east and west coasts of the US.

Silvermouse weaves mind-bending psychedelic soundscapes, drawing from roots in UK rave culture and American jam rock. Distinguished by bass and violin, grounding synths, percussive rhythms, flying guitar riffs, and signature spiraling improvisational live performances,  the duo’s muses are nature and cosmic existence.

Silvermouse’s current project, ‘Psychoactive,’ is a deep journeying dive into the potential of music as a psychoactive entity. The pair have been elevating their sound with spatial audio and Monroe Sound Science, using brainwave entrainment signals to create a safe container and a trigger for altered states, consciousness exploration, and mind-soul axis elevation.

Canadian Polyglot and polymath living in North Carolina, Francois is Head of Dion Research by day, & artist, maker of instruments & effects, musician, photographer & sound engineer by night.

His interest in music started at a very young age when he studied classical piano and electronics, both of these things would be quite influential on his future work.

He started composing electronic music as a kid in the early 80s and experimenting with sampling on an Apple //e, and would later use the Amiga, Apple IIgs and on the PC, the Gravis Ultrasound wavetable soundcard, and would publish soundbanks for it. Today, most of his music is done without computers, on modular synths and effects built by him, along with some commercial synths and effects.

From 1988 to 1997, he hosted a show on electronic music from its beginning in the early 20th century all the way to modern electronica, and the history of it and the technology that enabled it. He also did a stint at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Videoway / Videotron in Montreal.

In parallel with that, he would continue releasing music through various media, including digital media before MP3 files (through MP2 and ADPCM WAV files on Hyperreal, IUMA etc). In those 30 years to now, he has produced an average of ~1 album (EP or full) a year
