In the lands of Röhm, life has been corrupted.

Fertile soils have turned to dust, rivers have dried, and a strange dark magic spreads from the north, emanating from a cursed epicenter known as the Maelström.

The hero Talisker leaves his homeland behind, abandoning safety and comfort, and ventures across the withered plains, where ash drifts with the wind and desolation reigns. His journey takes him to the frozen north, where ice and storm are relentless, and finally to the forgotten city of Silentia, a place of shadows and ancient secrets.

There, Talisker crosses the portal of the Maelström, stepping into an unknown world full of danger, mystery, and trials that will test his courage and spirit.
Facing the Maelstrom is a musical journey: dungeon synth with analog pads, driving arpeggios, pulsing drones, and evolving synthetic textures, immersing you in the epic of this journey, the dark beauty of a devastated world, and the determination of a hero facing the abyss.
