Excited to finally share my first track, Ping Pong. 
Throughout my journey in life and as an aspiring artist, I have noticed a lot of things that I have ended up tying to the motif of a white circle. The main connection being Tycho’s album, Epoch as well as 2024’s ‘Infinite Health’ both of which feature a white circle on the cover. I owe almost all of my inspiration to them as a music producer and graphic designer. 
But certain as I may have been in my taste for music, I was equally uncertain about producing it. I’d always question myself and the process; it was a feeling of constantly going back and forth in my head, like a ping-pong ball. Over time, though, I took the advice from those around me who were saying to let go of my inhibitions and follow the feeling of inspiration. Only then was I finally able to succeed; by choosing to shift the pure and formless entity that is my awareness away from the deep-purple and light-pink gradient from within myself that is my emotions into objective, external reality. 
The other reasons for the title are a bit more on-the-nose. The constant half-note woodblock sample used in the song sounded like a bouncing ping pong ball to me. To make it sound more like a ping pong ball, I widened the sound by using an effect called ping pong delay that my DJ friend Erik Sadlicki showed me.

Speed is a US Florida native who grew up NYC tri-state area and took on a liking to Trance at an early age of his youthful years. He got his first pair of decks at 16 and would travel to Satellite records shop in Manhattan to get releases he heard on his pc. As time went on he grew a passion for his art in turntable beat matching and was inspired by the likes of the well-known big artists in the genre of Progressive, Trance, & Breaks. Later on, SpeedRising met up with Richard Sander the label boss of Saturn3 Records where Richard signed Speed's first track, Rouge City.
