Summer may be over, but we're not quite ready to let go yet. In this Francachela episode, we revisit a highlight of the Love International Festival - our beloved Sunrise Sessions.

Last year, DJ Aficionado brought Test Pressing’s head honcho, Apiento, to give us a taste of the magic. Now, after another unforgettable visit to the generous Croatian inlet, we're back with an insider's perspective from a Sunrise Sessions regular - Chez de Milo. Creator of the Club Blanco party series and host of Magic Carpet Ride on Noods Radio, he is poised to transport us back to a blissful Tisno sunrise.

Refuge Worldwide - Francachela (Love International's Sunrise Sessions Special) w/ Chez de Milo

As winter is tightening its grip on Berlin, our mind wanders off to sunnier moments - dancing on the Adriatic cost line with some cold drinks in hands. To take you with us on that journey, we invited our good buddies from Longhair to host this month's episode of our podcast series with a very special live recording from Love International Festival 2023 Tisno, Croatia.

Longhair focuses on the perfect mix of various influences, the dark and light, the devilishly pumping and the harmoniously uplifting and commands a vast experience and ability to conjure truly magical makings.  

The workings of Longhair call upon powers of playfulness and the open mind. At it’s core lies the raw, untamable energy of the 90’s; lapped up first hand. These sentiments are then tempered with a myriad of musical knowledge and appreciation, that finds Longhair eloquently piecing together vibrations from disco and balearic, to trance and electro; but it doesn’t stop there. 

Wholly unpredictable with the spells chosen to cast, Longhair manages to strike a neat chord between alluring ecstasy and deeply emotive, somehow, introspective undertones. You may find nimble stabs, hip-thrusting snares and rousing synth grooves, waltzing with whimsical flutes, angelic arps, radiant arpeggios and other, indescript counterparts. Yet one thing is for certain, the undeniable sorcery makes it’s ever-growing discography a sure shot for many momentous dancefloor tonics.

Founded in Gorski kotar, region dubed ‘grean heart’ of Croatia, Grenlight’s vibe is characterized by lush plant decorations glowing under vibrant green lights, consistently carrying a touch of their home’s charm to every event. 
Hosting renowned names like Per Hammar, Kepler, Amaliah, Abdul Raeva, Kassian, AR:TE, and many others, their events primarily center around the Rijeka region, featuring notable projects such as 360º in Pogon Kulture, nights at Crkva Club, Cesara beach, Lakeside on Lokve lake, residency in Portun Club, and more.
Greenlight also hosts vinyl fairs centered on electronic music, aiming to bridge the gap between older and younger generations of DJs and collectors while promoting the art of 'old school' record digging. In addition to event organization, Greenlight records and shares DJ sets on YouTube, aiming to intertwine the beauty of Croatia's nature with electronic music. 

In its brief existence, Greenlight has garnered an enthusiastic audience with innovative ideas, solidified by winning the Ambasador Award for 'Collective of the Year’, and hosting a daytime takeover at the Love International Festival in Tisno.
