Surah 60: Al-Mumtahanah (The Woman to be Tested) - Recited by Ahmed Abdelhamid Tahoun

Al-Mumtahanah is the sixtieth chapter of the Holy Qur'an, consisting of 13 verses. It is a Medinan Surah named "The Woman to be Tested" after the commandment to establish a specific test of faith for women who emigrate from disbelieving lands seeking refuge among the Muslims (Verse 10).

The Surah’s core theme is the absolute necessity of disavowing allegiance to the enemies of God and establishing unconditional loyalty to the community of believers. It was revealed partly after a believer, Hatib ibn Abi Balta'ah, attempted to send a secret letter to the Quraysh.

Key Themes in Surah Al-Mumtahanah include:

* The Principle of Loyalty: A strong prohibition against taking the enemies of God as allies, emphasizing that kinship and worldly interests must not override faith.
* The Example of Abraham: Highlighting the example of Prophet Abraham and his followers, who clearly disassociated themselves from their idolatrous people, as the perfect model of loyalty.
* The Test for Women: The practical test of sincerity required for women emigrants to determine if their migration was truly for the sake of Islam, or for worldly gain.
* The Prophet's Pledge: Specifying the terms of allegiance (Bay'ah) to be given to the Prophet (PBUH) by believing women, which includes commitments against theft, adultery, infanticide, and slander.

Vandaag breng ik met trots mijn nieuwe muziekstuk Black Swan Heart uit — een duet dat voortkomt uit de mystiek en symboliek van de zwarte zwaan. Een dier dat niet alleen fascineert door zijn schoonheid, maar vooral door zijn betekenis:een zwarte zwaan kiest één partner, en blijft die trouw voor het leven.

In een wereld waar relaties vaak vluchtig zijn en waar mensen elkaar soms sneller loslaten dan vasthouden, vertelt de zwarte zwaan een ander verhaal —
een verhaal over loyaliteit, kwetsbaarheid, en de kracht van een verbintenis die standhoudt, zelfs wanneer het leven stormachtig wordt.

Deze track is geschreven als een muzikale spiegel van dat idee.
Een duet waarin twee stemmen elkaar vinden zoals twee zwanen op een stil, zilverachtig meer:

Mijn naam is Cor Liekens, geboren en getogen in Rotterdam in Nederland. Ik ben een  bevlogen creatieve en energieke producer met een sterke focus op het eind resultaat en kwaliteit van mijn muziek en videoclips. 

Ik heb zelf gespeeld in diverse funkbands als gitarist, bassist en zanger en gewerkt als Club DJ en Radiomaker. Ik ben een ervaren audio/visueel vormgever,  videomaker, regisseur en theaterproductieleider. 

Ik heb jarenlang samengewerkt met mijn levenspartner Patricia Buijtendijk, welke helaas is overleden ten gevolge van de ernstige ziekte ALS. Ik heb met Patty veel theatervoorstellingen op de planken gebracht. 

Ik maak ook online programma's en videopodcasting voor mijn radiostation "Jukebox Hits Radio". In mijn penthouse studio heb ik de beschikking over professionele high-end audio- en video apparatuur met meerdere 4k camera's, 4k beeldschermen en beeldmixers, audiomixers, licht- en geluidsapparatuur. 

Jullie kunnen bij mij terecht voor het laten maken van Ai video's en videoclips, videoproducties, het maken van een song op mijn eigen label, een bedrijfspitch, video podcasting, artwork en het maken van een een videolevensverhaal "The Soundtrack Of Your Life". Ook maak ik orkestbanden voor muzikanten. 

Momenteel ben ik bezig met de afronding voor mijn One Man Show bezig de "Jukebox Hits Revue". In deze theaterachtige show speel ik de grootste en lekkerste hits uit de jaren 60, 70 en 80. 

De One Man Show is gericht op ouderen welke verblijven in instellingen, waarmee ik hun een dag bijzonder wil maken met muzikale herinneringen uit hun jongeren jaren. 

Ik maak muziek en video's puur vanuit mijn hart en passie voor muziek. Mijn eigen songs zijn veelal biografisch en hebben deels betrekking op mijn leven in wie ik ben en waar ik voor staat.
