And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

2025 - S36 - Septiembre 1 - Lucas 2

Un centurión tuvo más fe que todos en Israel, y su siervo fue sanado. El hijo único de una viuda había muerto y ella lloraba desconsolada al ir a sepultarlo, Jesús tuvo compasión y lo resucitó. Juan el bautista tuvo dudas acerca de Jesús, pero Jesús le confirmó que él era el Mesías. Una mujer pecadora ungió los pies de Jesús, pero Simón el fariseo se escandalizó. 

2025 - S36 - Septiembre 2 - Lucas 7

La cosecha es mucha y los obreros pocos. Jesús envió a setenta a predicar el reino de Dios. Ellos se gozaron porque el Señor les dio autoridad sobre los demonios, pero debían gozarse más porque sus nombres están escritos en los cielos. ¿Quién es el prójimo al que debo amar? El buen samaritano. Marta se afanaba tratando de servir al Señor, pero María escogió la mejor parte.

2025 - S36 - Septiembre 3 - Lucas 10

En respuesta a las críticas de los fariseos, el Señor les contó tres parábolas. La oveja perdida es un pecador arrepentido que es buscado por el buen pastor. La moneda perdida es buscada cuidadosamente por la mujer hasta que la halla. El hijo pródigo estaba perdido, pero fue hallado. Era un pecador arrepentido que volvió a la casa del padre. Hay gozo en el cielo cuando un pecador se arrepiente.

2025 - S36 - Septiembre 4 - Lucas 15

Con la parábola del mayordomo deshonesto, el Señor les enseñó a sus discípulos cómo manejar correctamente el dinero, con la perspectiva de la eternidad. A los fariseos no les gustó, porque eran amantes del dinero. El hombre rico celebró cada día fiestas con esplendidez, pero al morir sufrió agonía en el Hades. Lázaro fue pobre, pero, al morir, fue consolado en el seno de Abraham. 

2025 - S36 - Septiembre 5 - Lucas 16

Cuando las mujeres fueron al sepulcro, Jesús ya no estaba allí. Los ángeles les dijeron que Jesús había resucitado. Los discípulos no les creyeron. Pedro fue al sepulcro y solo encontró las envolturas de lino. Dos discípulos iban a Emaús cuando Jesús los alcanzó, pero no se dieron cuenta de que era Jesús hasta que partió el pan y desapareció. Se apareció a los once, les demostró que había resucitado, y les prometió que enviaría el Espíritu Santo. Al ascender al cielo, los bendijo.

2025 - S36 - Septiembre 6 - Lucas 24

Lucas continuó el reporte dirigido a Teófilo acerca de todo lo que Jesús hizo. Después de resucitar, Jesús mandó a sus discípulos que permanecieran en Jerusalén hasta que recibieran el bautismo con el Espíritu Santo y el poder para dar testimonio en toda la tierra. Ellos estaban en un aposento alto esperando en oración. Eran como 120 personas. Ellos eligieron a Matías para sustituir a Judas.
