First out of two of Ly Sander's 'Landing' album samplers released on Special place, the package presents two tracks both serviced with a dedicated remix that offer a deep yet often unheard insight into what dance music can mean. 

Preoccupation about the impact of mankind on the planet is nothing new, as the radio excerpt at the basis of 'Marching to where' clearly exposes. Nevertheless, climate change or the war in Ukraine remind us cruelly how access to food at a reasonable price is currently at stake for parts of the world's population albeit our heavy colonization of the earth. Perspectives are rather gloomy and this track exposes just that, with a historical perspective. 

Jacques Bon was kind enough to take on remixing duties. He has released music on an array of high-rated record labels including Tim Sweeney's seminal imprint, Beats In Space, Mule Musiq, Giegling, Kann, Live At Robert Johnson and Smallville Records. Not just a solo flier, Jacques also co-produced choice deep-diving joints with the likes of Christopher Rau and Chicago House pioneers, Virgo Four. 

And if it's difficult to leave aside the seriousness of the topic of this track Jacques brought some hope and sweetness to his mix as well as his dreamy atmosphere. And with the increased bpm it's even dancefloor friendly, hurra!

An exhilarating testimony by a singer that did unfortunately reach for the stars
Second installment of Ly Sander's 'Landing' album samplers, this package introduces two tracks offering different mixes of organic and electronic vibes, deep entranched emotions meet dance music.
Albeit all the hope it conveys, the track 'For Your Love' carries a heavy burden, as it is one of the lasts testimonies of much too early gone soul, as singer Matt Bessa sadly passed away since the recording of these vocals. The track will nevertheless envelop you in its warm and moving soulful house embrace that given the current insights is even more bound to move your soul.

On a very different note, 'Transcontinental Hippies' takes you on a journey reminiscent of a bygone era, evoking the free-spirited essence of hippies lost in a trance-like state. Its tribal feel resonates with a timeless energy captivating the senses in such a way that it can hardly leave you untouched.

But that's not all - this release comes with two remixes that offer fresh perspectives. Man 2.0 transforms 'For Your Love' into a stomping house anthem, injecting an infectious energy that's sure to ignite dance floors. Meanwhile, Love Over Entropy presents a dreamy deep house remix of 'Transcontinental Hippies,' sprinkling it with subtle acid notes that add a touch of intrigue to this ethereal journey.

Just as much as Ly Sander’s Landing album took you on a journey reminiscent of a bygone era, evoking the free-spirited essence of hippies lost in a trance-like state, it was important to him to offer other lectures on his trademark sound.

Thus, an impressive roster of top-notch remixers have worked on his material, ie Ripperton (ESP, Tamed), Love Over Entropy (Lossless, OFF recordings), MAN2.0 (Espacio Cielo, Nein Records), Iori Wakasa (Dessous, Get Physical), Gregorythme (Cadenza, Cityfox), Onur Ozman (Rebirth, Noir Music), Jacques Bon (Smallville, Permanent Vacation) and up and coming producer Paul Callens (Special place) have all contributed with interpretations of Ly Sander’s tracks.
