Piero è un ragazzo come tanti. Uno di quelli che, quando succede qualcosa di storto, reagisce sempre sbuffando. La tipica persona che vede sempre e solo il bicchiere mezzo vuoto. Piero per molti anni ha affrontato le giornate così, pensando “che palle, che merda” davanti ad ogni minimo problema.

Piero ha capito, però, che questo alla lunga lo appesantiva, ma soprattutto ha capito che non era quello che succedeva il problema, ma come reagiva lui. Ha, quindi, cambiato mantra. Ha iniziato a ripetersi “vabbè, si risolve”, dove prima avrebbe pensato "che palle". Piero ha scoperto che anche dentro una giornata di merda, a volte, si può nascondere qualcosa di bello, qualcosa che prima non avrebbe mai visto.

Piero siamo tutti noi. Piero sono anche io, quando sbuffo davanti alla sveglia troppo presto, o quando mi agito di fronte ad un imprevisto... Da quando ho scritto questa canzone, mi è capitato spesso di ripensarci, di usarla come promemoria per cambiare prospettiva, sia davanti a problemi quotidiani, ma anche di fronte a paranoie personali più profonde. Mi farebbe molto piacere sapere che riesca ad arrivare e/o aiutare anche qualcun altro.
