This is my tribute to the great Jason Becker who will forever be remembered as one of the greatest shredders and a huge influence for me as I was learning how to play guitar.

Marty Friedman & Jason Becker were in a band Cacophony that allowed them to display their amazing talent before going on to release solo instrumental albums. Jewel was the 6th song on Marty's album Dragon's Kiss featuring Jason Becker opening the song.

This is an original song I came up with trying to channel Marty Friedman's playing on Scenes and Introduction.

When Marty Friedman parted ways with Megadeth there was rumors, he was going to do another solo instrumental album. I won't lie I expected a shredding masterclass and when I picked up Scenes my mind was in shock. It was nothing that I ever would have expected but it's something I will never forget. The music is exotic and takes you on a journey that you don't want to end.

Realm of the Senses is my favorite song from Scenes and Mama is my favorite from the follow up to Scenes, Introduction. I have done a Loneliness before but kind of blending it with Mama. I wanted to do my best to try to do a proper cover of it and I hope that it does the original justice. Thank you, Marty, for your creativity and inspiration you are truly one of a kind.
