Surprise, surprise… I actually got this one cleared and live on SoundCloud without triggering the copyright bots! Just dropped a brand-new mashup blending Dierks Bentley – She Hates Me with Puddle of Mudd – She Hates Me — and let me tell you, this one hits all the right notes. It’s gritty, melodic, and somehow brings together two very different emotions in one smooth ride. I'm honestly stoked with how well the vocals laid in after shifting the key up three semitones — bringing Puddle of Mudd's track into Dierks' world while still keeping the raw edge intact.

This mashup is way more in line with the type of production I’m known for — clean, punchy redrums that stay true to the vibe of the original track. I didn’t just slap two songs together. I started by building new drums from scratch, using the Dierks Bentley track as the rhythmic foundation. Then, I surgically removed the original drums from She Hates Me, re-layered it with my new pattern, and created a version that feels tight, natural, and super DJ-friendly. The result? A mashup that bumps like a club mix but keeps the soul of both records alive.

While I love experimenting with EDM crossovers, this is truly my bread and butter — clean edits, restructured rhythms, and mashups that sound like they should’ve existed all along. Joshua Duerksen, renowned by his DJ name DJ JD, was raised in the Mid-West and California, where his musical tastes were shaped by a diverse range of genres, spanning from Classic Rock and Country to Hip Hop and 90's Dance. He firmly believes that "Good music knows no genre."

Following his graduation from high school, JD enlisted in the United States Navy, dedicating a decade of service to his country. While stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he had the privilege of meeting several influential DJs who became his mentors, imparting invaluable knowledge about the various aspects of DJing.

In between deployments, JD diligently honed his mixing and performance skills, gaining experience as a Club DJ, Mobile DJ, and Dive Bar DJ. After completing his naval service, he relocated to Idaho and founded a mobile disc jockey entertainment company, specializing in providing exceptional DJ services for weddings, birthday parties, and school dances.

In 2009, JD embarked on a new venture, joining XMiX DJ Music Pool as a video editor. In this role, he skillfully re-edited music videos to match the remixes produced by the talented editors and producers at XMiX, catering to the needs of Video DJs and facilitating seamless music video mixing. During his tenure, JD significantly enhanced his audio editing prowess and mastered the art of creating audio edits and remixes. These creations have been featured in nationally syndicated country mix shows and embraced worldwide, wherever country music finds appreciation.

NYC-based DJ spinning energetic house for late nights, loud rooms, and open minds. With a deep love for tech house, acid house, and the timeless pulse of classic house, M30W M30W blends raw energy with unexpected turns—where warehouse grit meets pop-laced nostalgia. 

Whether it’s a peak-hour floor filler or a slow-burn after-hours groove, she mixes with intention, memory, and movement in mind. From club floors to rooftop sessions, it’s always about the vibe, the crowd, and the drop that lingers.

LA.CO.NY. is an open format DJ and music producer whose goal is to bring positive party vibes to her audience through exploring multiple musical genres. Although her sweet spot is in house, tech house, pop, and hip hop, her musical inspiration stems from all the places she’s lived. Growing up by the beach in Los Angeles gave her a base of reggae/rock/pop, and going to school in Boulder, Colorado, exposed her to the exhilarating new sounds of dubstep and electronic music. She landed in New York after college to pursue music, where she re-fell in love with funk and hip hop. 

LA.CO.NY. has opened for artists such as MK, Snakehips, BUNT., and Twin Diplomacy, played festivals like Fresh Start alongside Elderbrook, Tchami, Kaskade, and VNSSA, and has played locally in San Francisco, at 1015 Folsom, The Midway, Monarch, Bergerac, F8, 111 Minna, Salesforce Tower, and many more. She’s played in New York at Bowery Hotel and Eastpoint Bar, and internationally at clubs in Ibiza (Tantra Club), and in Valencia, Spain (Loco Club). She’ll serve you house, tech house, pop, hip-hop, and everything else necessary for a euphoric time on the dance floor.
