Paul White Biog
Paul White initially trained in electronics at The Royal Radar Establishment in Malvern then went on to work with Malvern Instruments, a company specialising in laser analysis equipment, before moving into technical writing. 

He joined the Sound On Sound team in 1991 where he became Editor In Chief, a position he held for many years before recently becoming Executive Editor. Paul has written more than 20 recording and music technology textbooks, the latest being The Producer’s Manual.

Having established his own multitrack home studio in the 1980s he’s worked with many notable names including Bert Jansch and Gordon Giltrap. He’s played in various bands over the years and currently collaborates with Malvern musician Mark Soden, under the name of Cydonia Collective. Paul still performs live claiming that as he has suffered for his music he doesn’t see why everyone else shouldn’t too!

I had an incredible time mixing and mastering the Scottish band GUN. This song features over 100 multitracks, making it a truly exciting project. As a drummer myself, I always strive to preserve the natural acoustic drum recordings without relying on samples. In this mix, I reinforced the original kick drum with a subtly delayed sub-oscillator, adding depth while maintaining its authenticity. Check out more about this awesom band here:

Si vous êtes sur le point de sortir une démo, un album ou juste un titre n'hésitez pas ! J'ai commencé en mixant les titres des groupes dans lequel je jouais puis le virus c'est emparé de moi. J'adore bidouiller le son, le chatouiller voir même le détruire. Moi c'est Romain 38 ans je suis ingé son amateur en voix de professionnalisation. Je suis à la recherche de groupe et de projet en lien avec le son comme des podcast également. j'ai appris en autodidacte donc une touche forcément unique à mes sons ! 


Je suis également musicien, compositeur et auteur. Je travail actuellement sur un album qui serai monté grâce à un collectif de musicien ne se connaissant pas forcément

I’m a music producer and Sound Engineering student at the "Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero" (Buenos Aires, Argentina), with a strong focus on mixing and mastering. While I also create electronic and ambient music as a personal form of expression, my main role in music is technical: shaping the final sound of other artists.

I’m continuously learning, but I already have hands-on experience working on various projects. I’ll soon be sharing a public playlist featuring some of the mixes I’ve worked on—so you can get a real sense of my work and sound approach.
