Unconscious Hypocrisy - Keith Vethaak

In this sermon, the parable of the tenants in Matthew 21 is used to show how God’s people rejected His prophets and ultimately His Son, Jesus Christ. The vineyard represents God’s kingdom, entrusted to His people to bear fruit, yet instead they chose rebellion and defiance. Jesus reveals Himself as the rejected cornerstone, who through the cross becomes the very foundation of God’s salvation plan. The message calls us to examine our hearts, repent from elf-centred living, and embrace Christ as Lord. Only by building on Him as the cornerstone can we live fruitful lives that glorify God.

We ask how to do that especially when we see suffering and poverty, hunger and despair. What does it mean that God will provide? Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
