The song drifts through alleyways and midnight bars, following a narrator tangled in what was: the heartbeat of a person who lit up the night, now replaced by silence that’s too loud to ignore. It’s a slow-burning reflection on what lingers after the fall — when even the stars seem out of reach, and the city whispers names you’re trying to forget.

Ein nächtlicher Streifzug durch verblasste Erinnerungen, erleuchtet von Neon-Geistern und dem Echo vergangener Liebe. „Graffiti Hearts and Cheap Perfume“ fängt das Flirren von etwas ein, das einst lebendig war – und nun nur noch in Schatten und Düften nachhallt. Basti grinst wie damals beim Handball.
Tina riecht nach Nivea, trägt den Sommer im Gesicht.
Jutta erzählt mal wieder, als wärs gestern und freut sich.
Manche lachen zu laut, andre tragen
das Schweigen wie'n Abzeichen aus Fragen.
Hinter Sektgläsern spiegelt sich Zeit,
wie 'ne Kassette, zurückgedreht.
Doch keiner spult ganz bis zum Anfang,
weil's sonst zu nah geht.

Und irgendwo zwischen Smalltalk, Buffet und Bar.
Seh ich, was war, was blieb, ganz nah.

Wir sind noch da - auch wenn nix mehr gleich ist.

Wie ein Song, den wir alle mal kannten.

Und irgendwo zwischen Smalltalk, Buffet und Bar.
Seh ich, was war, was blieb, ganz nah.

Wir sind noch da - auch wenn nix mehr gleich ist.
Ein paar Mücken am Visier, doch wir bremsen nicht.

A one man band.  Self taught in the expression of several instruments, but upbringing in vocals. 

Fulfillment came when I began this journey in self taught piano, guitar and other instruments. 

Music for me is that I enjoy every moment when I record, so it can be appreciated later by listening and learning. 

Music is to enhance the day. 

Instruments include: piano, keyboard, electric guitar, handmade guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, harmonica. 

You should enjoy what you do and if others do as well, it’s a bonus.
