Was really into the band Mew at this time and you can hear the influence.

The band was solid but our bassist Taneli was always late. We had some shows, some fans, replaced drummer and then the project turned into another band called Awe.

Retreat

The Shrugs thing was not working out. Me and Pete wanted to be stars, Antti and Taneli wanted to be nerds. So we fired them and changed our band name into Awe. We were now a rocknroll duo. Me on guitar, piano, voice. Pete on drums and swagger. Long blonde hair. We were two young studs full of ourselves, our songs, our wild youth. We performed around Helsinki and conquered the night. Next few years would be spent on refining our act, writing and dreaming of London, NYC and making it big. We never did... and eventually I decided to just be a solo act and left Finland in the summer of 2006. Now I'm the greatest artist alive yet nobody knows I even exist except you perhaps :)
