# Airport Records – Biografi

**Airport Records** är ett kreativt musiknav och hemmastudio baserad utanför Linköping, Sverige. Projektet föddes ur en passion för musikskapande och ljudexperiment, och har under åren vuxit till att bli ett namn för både bandprojekt, soloinspelningar och samarbeten med andra musiker.

Studion, även kallad **Airport Studio Records**, startades av **Johan Klintsäter** (grundare av The Grand Station) som en plats där idéer kunde förverkligas utan begränsningar. Namnet kommer dels från närheten till Linköpings flygplats, dels från känslan av att varje låt är en resa som lyfter från startbanan.

Genom åren har Airport Records varit hemvist för en lång rad musikaliska projekt:

* **The Grand Station** – huvudbandet som blandar 70-talets jamrock med 90-talets grunge och 2000-talets alternativa sound.

* **Mira Ghost** – ett AI-drivet, experimentellt projekt som kombinerar instrumentala ljudlandskap med elektronisk mystik.

**Sqeoumorph Plauge**, **Lazy Highway**, **Nordic Soul Syndicate** och flera andra alias har också vuxit fram under samma paraply.

Studion är inte bara en plats för inspelning, utan även för **produktion, mixning, mastring och visuell identitet**. Albumomslag, logotyper, affischer och konstverk skapas ofta parallellt med musiken, vilket gör Airport Records till ett helhetskonstnärligt projekt.

### Filosofi

Airport Records bär på filosofin att musik är både **frihet och dokumentation**. Varje låt blir en del av ett större arkiv – en tidsstämpel över känslor, idéer och samhällsreflektioner. Här möts det analoga och det digitala, retroinfluenser och framtidsteknologi, hantverk och automation.

### Nutid och framtid

Idag fungerar Airport Records som **plattform och etikett** för alla projekt som Johan och hans kollegor skapar. Musiken ges ut på digitala plattformar som Spotify och YouTube, och ibland även i fysiska format.

Framtiden för Airport Records handlar om att fortsätta utforska **nya ljudvärldar, nya samarbeten och nya teknologier**, samtidigt som man bevarar känslan av den där första studion i ladan – en plats där allt började.
