Enigmatic charisma—a magnetic allure that’s both compelling and elusive. The newly rebranded Richoffkrudd embodies this mystique at the highest level. From exaggerated facial tattoos and piercings to nylon sleeves and oversized baggy clothes, he fuses each eccentric detail into a striking image—virtually resurrecting the early 2000s punk aesthetic. Gothic and skater influences ooze from him, making him the unapologetic outlier among his peers. Yet, being an outcast has its perks. From supersonic synths to grungy melodies, Krudd displays masterful puppetry behind the boards.

Before the interview, a chance to dive into the rapper’s latest project: THIS SHIT PUNK. The all-caps title isn’t just a stylistic choice—it’s a battle cry. Raw, edgy, rebellious, the phrase distills generations of punk ethos into three explosive words. While some might see “punk” as a slight, the culture wears it like armor, proud and unyielding, banishing those who merely imitate.

The album opens with “LIPSEX,” and immediately, Krudd’s voice captivates. His nasally flow rides the instrumental like a spell, drawing listeners into a California Airbnb filled with fleeting encounters and superficial intentions . He knows the women are there for the experience—not him—and he makes no effort to pretend otherwise.

The track fades into “EMO THUG,” where Krudd confronts his imitators head-on. Fully aware of his influence, he raps: “My shit blowin’ speakers / Lately I been goin’ up / These niggas bite my style, they bite my cadence, they want my hoe" The message is clear: they’re watching, copying, but never catching up.

As we reach “HOT TOPIC,” Krudd doubles down on his brash confidence: “You OG at twenty-five, I was OG at twenty-three.” The line reinforces his self-proclaimed status while flaunting his rise, drug-fueled highs, and ability to craft addictive hooks with ease. 

“DRUGCORE” is a fever dream—an auditory hallucination set in the grimy backrooms of an underground club. The vibe is pure Blade nightclub—feral and blood-soaked. Krudd draws twisted comparisons between women, bloodsuckers, and demons—visions only his demented mind could birth.

Taking a turn toward the playful and rebellious, “TEEN TWEEN” offers a pop-leaning reflection of adolescence. Krudd channels the chaos of puberty—sneaking out, clashing with parents, seeking identity—and captures the growing pains with raw charm.

“DON’T DISTURB,” a track first teased on Instagram, pulls the curtain back on Krudd’s more reclusive, antisocial side. “My phone on silent, don’t disturb / Don’t say you love me, that’s just a word,” he raps, expressing how he finds comfort in solitude, even as the world watches him with curiosity.

The title track, “THIS SHIT PUNK,” is the album’s manifesto. Every rasp, every distorted guitar riff, channels pure rebellion. Krudd lives in his truth and refuses to conform—a true punk of his generation. This song sets the stage for “BLACK MISFIT,” where he proudly declares his independence rapping  “Middle finger to the sky, I’m on my emo shit” fully embracing his identity and his path.

Closing out the album, trap bangers like “SHOW SUM” and “BDSM FREESTYLE” bring gritty basslines and lazy-slick flows. Krudd effortlessly navigates between punk edge and trap swagger, showing he’s as comfortable in a mosh pit as he is in a trap house.

This track opens with a subtle hi-hats, and a deep funk bassline, peppered with muted trumpet stabs. Over this rich jazz groove, a weary yet sweet voice navigates the confusion of not quite getting the "collective pleasure" or "easy rhythm" everyone else seems to understand.
