This mix was composed after a trip west to Cleveland and Chicago, then back home through Pittsburgh. A series of serendipitous circumstances found me spinning in Chicago on a Thursday evening. While I was travelling, my boy Dao worked out the details from afar on my behalf. It was great to have Alyssa with me for this one. We had a great time, then enjoyed Chicago the next day. We did the architectural boat tour. What an aesthetically pleasing city Chicago is. When we returned home, my boy Damian was in town from Orlando, so we threw down some records for a few hours. It has been a full July, and I am grateful for all my friends and family. All this contributes to the mix you find below. Thanks for listening, for real.

Die Mischung auf hoher Flamme mit Leidenschaft und Schweiß weiter erhitzen, bis die Tanzfläche brodelt. Zum Abschluss mit einem ordentlichen Spritzer Herzlichkeit verfeinern und heiß an alle friends und future friends servieren.

Jays Negri is music producer and DJ since 2014.  He established himself in the Brazilian scene by his production skills and especially by his interaction with the audience. 

Studying music since he was eight years old, Jays began his DJ career identifying with House Music and its sub-genres, especially Indie Dance.  He has released tracks by multiple renowned labels (No Definition Records, Satsuma Music, Bunny Tiger, Ciclo Records, Lemon Drops Records, Demmi Records, Alphabeat Records and Subsolo Music) and has reached more than 20 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify and international charts on Apple Music and a number 1 position in progressive house releases on Beatport.

Owning his own event label, Yes We Dance, Jays Negri was selected as resident DJ at Mezanino Club in Brasilia, and has played many festivals and parties throughout Brazil: Tônica, Café on Tour, Crema Club, Externa, Bud Basement, Reveillon aMar Boipeba, Festival “Na Praia", Pink Elephant, etc.

Jays Negri is obsessed with House Music and takes his music studies seriously.  He can be considered an outlier artist in Brasilia's music scene, especially for his charisma.
