Born from a solitary piano improvisation, Echoes of a Midnight Pulse unfolds as a slow‑stretching melody that drifts between intimacy and unease. The piece is scored for clarinet, piano, and strings, each voice weaving around a faint, real‑world heartbeat that pulses beneath the texture. As the music expands, the clarinet’s plaintive timbre and the strings’ lingering harmonics echo the rhythm of the hidden heart, creating a haunting dialogue between human fragility and the darkness that surrounds it. This lingering, breath‑tight atmosphere invites listeners to feel the pulse of night itself.
