“05.16.2025 1630.2150” and “05.16.2025 2150.30” are two parts of a continuous instrumental suite — a slow-burning, bass-led exploration of groove, memory, and musical intuition.

Recorded live in one take and split into two evolving halves, the suite flows at a steady 120 BPM but shifts key and mood over time:

Part 1 (A Major): grounded, meditative, hypnotic — like the start of a night drive.

Part 2 (D minor): airier, more abstract — the road opens up and things get cosmic.

No looping, no quantization — just raw improvisation. The bass leads, but textures drift in and out like thought fragments.

There are no loops, edits, or overdubs — just human hands working in real time with machine rhythm. It’s groove-led improvisation with the loose form of a jam and the intentionality of composition.

"05.16.2025" is a two-part instrumental suite that drifts between ambient funk and psychedelic jazz.

Part 1 sets the foundation — a locked-in, live-recorded bass groove in A major. Part 2 expands the sonic space, shifting to G♯ with more ambient textures and off-axis rhythms.

Inspired by artists like Thundercat, Floating Points, and Khruangbin, this is music for headphone listening, deep thought, and subtle movement.

No loops. No overdubs. Just a real-time conversation between rhythm and intuition.

They are each other's right hand men) work as a session musician on piano and keys, as well as for all his production collaborations in multi-genres. He is quickly becoming well known for making original era-specific samples that producers sample for their songs.  If you want something that sounds like 1960's Motown and has that authentic sound to it, Michael is the man for the job. These original samples are made from scratch with real session musicians that Michael has access to 24/7. These samples aren't just available anywhere either. There are currently a couple of ways to get these originals full samples and one is contacting Michael directly. Michael has access to great session musicians 24/7 including his father Adam Palma from the Dallas-based band Emerald City, who happens to be one of the best pop and R&B guitar players in existence. All those guitars you hear on these tracks are not samples, that's Adam Palma Ladies and Genetlemen!
