Common issues reported for the 2011 Land Rover Discovery (Discovery 4) include problems with the air suspension system, transfer box (noise, leaks, and oil issues), and the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system. Electrical issues, such as the Body Control Module (BCM) failing, can also lead to a "playing dead" scenario. For engine-related problems, a turbo system leak, a faulty mass air flow (MAF) sensor, or a worn EGR valve can cause a "restricted performance" warning and power loss.

I’m mainly a painter, although I can play simple tunes on the Guitar, Ukulele Charango and Keyboards; hence I think of my musical compositions as ‘sound paintings.’ When I’m creating a new piece I try to picture the scene and the emotions in my mind. The descriptions and the uploaded images are there to assist the listener to visualise my musical creation.  My view of any kind of art be it painting, sculpture or music, is that it should leave an impression, whether it is good or bad is up to the individual viewer or listener. The viewer/listener either likes it or not. I always have music playing (sometimes I even dance to the music) while I’m painting, as it keeps me in the mood of that particular artistic piece.  My main musical influences are Jean Michel Jarre, Frank Zappa, Los Calchakis, Tchaikovsky and The Rolling Stones. I also create small sculptural pieces, write poetry and short stories plus occasionally photography. . My artistic influences are Van Gogh, the Fauvists such as Matisse, Derain and Vlaminck, French and Nordic Impressionists namely Monet, Cezanne, Munch, Osslund and Erichsen.  Nolde, Kalella, Klimpt, Hokusai, Hundertwasser and  Wu Guangzong have also had an influence on my work.

From a musical perspective, Alain’s life got a kickstart by winning several prizes for music composition as a child. However, he also had a great fascination for technology and became a software/AI-engineer during his working life.

He always continued to study and play piano compositions of the great classical composers, such as Bach, Brahms and Chopin. On Spotify you can find the album "Alain Sadon piano works 2017 till 2022" with 19 songs.

At the age of 60, he retired and revived his old love, after doctors declared him cured of a serious illness that had developed two years earlier.

His compositions are intuitive in nature, but rooted in knowledge of music theory. The music is atmospheric, moody and cinematic.

His musical sources of inspiration are (besides life itself and the classical composers mentioned earlier) Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt and contemporary composers such as Max Richter.
