A tiros de bala de borracha, a Tropa de Choque da Polícia Militar atacou no final da manhã desta segunda-feira, 22 de setembro, a retomada Guarani e Kaiowá da Fazenda Ipuitã, área sobreposta à Terra Indígena Guyraroká, no Mato Grosso do Sul. 

É mais um despejo ilegal, com uso de violência e com ao menos 2 indígenas atingidos pelos disparos.

Os Guarani e Kaiowá realizaram a retomada no domingo (21) para impedir a pulverização de veneno sobre a comunidade e reivindicar a conclusão do procedimento demarcatório. Imediatamente os indígenas solicitaram a presença da Funai, mas não obtiveram resposta positiva. A Força Nacional de Segurança esteve no local, mas não interveio.

Na noite do domingo, 21 de setembro, os Guarani e Kaiowá da Terra Indígena Dourados-Amambaipeguá III retomaram uma área em Porto Cambira, também no Mato Grosso do Sul.

No dia seguinte, após a retomada, homens armados invadiram a retomada, atiraram contra os indígenas e incendiaram os barracos. Os Guarani e Kaiowá conseguiram afugentar o bando e se mantiveram na retomada. O ambiente ainda é de tensão e os indígenas acreditam que podem sofrer novos ataques.

Some new gear purchased this week in the form of a Radius Mini-alto Windshield setup. So far very impressed with the well thought out ergonomics, ease of use and modularity. Everything we could ever have asked for at a really competitive price. To complete the setup I also purchased a Schoeps Mk 8 Capsule to make a compact MS setup for on the road. 

This is recording in MS at its widest setting, panned full L and R. It sounds really good even when you collapse the MS slightly but I've kept it full open so you can hear all the elements. The stereo effect is pretty impressive and the ambience really shows on that Mk 8 capsule, with the fireworks bouncing off the hard surfaces of the housing estate. 

No EQ applied at all, just a hard limiter to control some of those louder explosions and make it overall easier on the ears. 

Gear: Sound Devices MixPre 6 ii + Schoeps Mk 4+8 MS inside the Radius Mini-alto 115 without Fur. 

If you haven't bought a Radius windshield yet, don't hold out, they're awesome. 
Also something to listen out for, not all the 'wizz' sounds are fireworks, as there were lots of Redwing moving that night too. Feel sorry for them, I bet they're frightened to death hearing all that whilst trying to migrate at night.

No Mato Grosso do Sul, retomada Guarani e Kaiowá sobrevive ao 2º dia, consecutivo, de ataques após criação de Grupo de Trabalho Técnico para tratar de demarcações.

Há ao menos um ferido, de acordo com a Funai – a Fundação Nacional dos Povos Indígenas, - mas o número de feridos pode ser ainda maior. 

Os ataques ocorreram na retomada da Terra Indígena Iguatemipeguá I e na aldeia Pyelito Kue na madrugada e manhã, desta terça-feira, 4 de novembro. Na madrugada do dia seguinte, 5, a comunidade enfrentou outra noite de terror 

De acordo com os indígenas, os ataques foram realizados por homens ligados a um conjunto de propriedades sobrepostas à Terra Indígena, identificando alguns deles por já os terem visto circulando pelas fazendas Cachoeira e Cambará. “Todos os fazendeiros se juntaram para atacar. Estamos sem energia, internet e água”, relatam os indígenas.

As duas retomadas, Guyraroká e Passo Piraju, estão sendo atacadas pelas forças de segurança estaduais desde o dia 21 de setembro, deste ano. O Guarani e Kaiowá afirmam que “não há certeza de que os indígenas destas áreas ainda estejam vivos”, prevendo um genocídio do povo.
