Eng: A long, long time ago, when the world was still ruled by gods and people believed in myths, they gathered all over the world to pray for happiness and salvation. But the key to their wish remained hidden for a long time, until a brave group set out to find it. Driven by the prophecies of the Oracle of Delphi, they took the plunge and faced danger. Neither mythical monsters nor the gods themselves were able to stop them. After a long odyssey through sonic abysses and heavenly harmonies, they finally discovered the key to salvation - Mythos Music. From the majestic gates of Asgard to the pyramids of the Maya and the mysterious depths of Tartarus, the musical spectrum of Mythos Music unfolds. Every beat is like a hammer blow from the Norse god Thor, every melody as beguiling as the voices of the sirens, every note makes you lose all sense of space and time as if you were on the island of the sorceress Circe and traps you in a labyrinth similar to that of the Minotaur.

Cull the Living Flower is a progressive metal project from the west coast of Norway. I mould melody against meter and let the friction spark. I aim to pull the strings of visceral emotion and dance to the beating rhythm between the ones and zeros. 

The name harkens back to a poetic line from Karl Marx's critique of Hegel "Criticism has plucked the imaginary flowers on the chain not in order that man shall continue to bear that chain without fantasy or consolation, but so that he shall throw off the chain and pluck the living flower. The criticism of religion disillusions man, so that he will think, act, and fashion his reality like a man who has discarded his illusions and regained his senses, so that he will move around himself as his own true Sun. Religion is only the illusory Sun which revolves around man as long as he does not revolve around himself... Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions."

With a formal background in audio production and sound theory from secondary school onwards, Herman began performing under the tag Pyrotechnica in 1995. His live sets are known for blending slow-evolving ambient landscapes with fragmented post-industrial rhythms and spoken word overlays. His work has appeared at independent electronic events, clubs, warehouse shows, and gallery-based listening rooms throughout Melbourne, with international interest via curated playlists.

Giebartowski is a boundary-dissolving artist navigating the liminal spaces between sound, text, and memory. Drawing on a hybrid lineage of Eastern European folklore, post-communist architecture, and algorithmic decay, his work evokes the static hum of lost transmissions and the poetic distortion of time.

His signature “glitch chants” and ambient-noir soundscapes have earned underground acclaim in Melbourne’s electronic scene and Europe’s cassette-based art communities.
