I host two shows on 103.5 The Sun, a community radio station in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Hey! Ho! Let's Go is punk/alternative rock. EWR is to dance, blending genres and sounds, innovative and inclusive. DJ & Live sets, singers, rappers, dancers, drummers and more. 

EWR’s purpose is to provide an inclusive platform for Newark to celebrate musical diversity across cultures. Music has the ability to connect people across generations, languages, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, religions, nationalities, neighborhoods and so much more. 

EWR is Nork. Nork is Elevating. Nork is Welcoming. Nork is Reimagining. 

EWR is the Brainchild of Newark resident, Charles David, a UK/Dutch national from Manchester (UK). By day, Global Head of Talent Acquisition at www.AeroFarms.com, by night, regular DJ at the #1 best club in the world, (Voted by DJ Mag). 

A love and connection to music was seeded in the UK and blossomed upon arriving in the USA in 2013. Residencies and events in Manchester & Liverpool, grew into supporting Grammy Award winning artists such as the Chainsmokers, Paul OakenFold and pioneer of the Garage sound NJ native, Todd Edwards at premier Houston venues like Stereo Live. 

Newark and Manchester share a rich musical history. Legendary Zanzibar sound system designers, Steve Dash (Twilo, NY), Larry Levan (Paradise Garage) and Richard Long (studio 54), also installed a system at Sankeys in Manchester. Manchester, home of New Order, Oasis, Factory Records, the Hacienda, birthplace of acid house and music institutions like Sankeys & The Warehouse Project, all shaped the sound of EWR before relocating to the US. 

EWR is a global sound, a collaboration of the US, UK with sounds and influences from all around the world.

Forged by a friendship on the dance floor, An early music project "Conversion DJ's", with collaborators Charles David (Emil Arend) & Will Kerr saw a rapid rise. From bedroom to opening for the likes of greats as Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, John Dahlback, Fake Blood, Matt Zo, Aeroplane, Tommy Trash, Round Table Nights, Zoo Brazil, T Williams, Dusky, Sasha, Bowski, Michael Cassette, Aeroplane, Style Of Eye, Jaytech, Menno De Jong, Artful Dodger in just 2 years. 

On moving the US, Charles, then performing under alias Charles UK, opened for Sean Tyas, Emma Hewitt, Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin, Myon & Shane 54, Audien, Paul Oakenfold, Morgan Page, Syn Cole, The Chainsmokers and other amazing local DJ's at Houston's premier EDM club Stereo Live.
