Every year, team members at Zyxel shut down their laptops and cell phones to donate their day to the community.  On July 13 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, Zyxel employees and their families gathered at Seal Beach to commence Zyxel's traditional Day of Giving. This year's activity was "Save our Beach" in which volunteers picked up the trash to help protect and restore our natural environment.

Transforming Healthcare Access in Africa: Innovations. Challenges, and Impact

On today's episode of #LetsJustTalk, we're honored to welcome Brenda Tracy, the visionary behind Set The Expectation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit on a mission to create change. Brenda's personal journey, which started as a solo endeavor, has grown into a dedicated team effort with a profound impact.

To date, Brenda's story has inspired thousands of athletes across 100+ college campuses. As a nonprofit, we've proudly assisted our campus partners in raising over $142,000 for community agencies supporting survivors. More than 500 Set The Expectation events have ignited change, with over 54,000 pledges of support and counting.

Set The Expectation's reach extends far beyond sports, encompassing campus Greek Life and the Corporate sector. We take pride in being part of the group that successfully advocated for the NCAA to adopt a Campus Sexual Violence Policy, a critical step toward a safer environment for student-athletes.

Brenda Tracy's story has made an indelible mark, resonating in team meeting rooms, newspaper articles, and television clips since her courageous revelation in 2014. Over the years, she's empowered thousands of athletes, coaches, and sports fans, educating, engaging, and inspiring them to unite against sexual and interpersonal violence.

In 1998, Brenda survived a horrific gang rape involving four college football players, two of whom were associated with Oregon State. She immediately sought medical attention, filed a police report, and hoped for justice. Sadly, as with many such cases, justice remained elusive.

Simon Esler fights for free thought with every tool he has. After building a free thinking, 14 thousand member think tank on Facebook, Simon was censored across social media for challenging official narratives. In response, he pivoted his focus to providing content to freedom oriented streaming platforms, refining his skills as a researcher, content creator and filmmaker within private communities. 

After almost half a decade of writing, shooting and editing original content focused on modern warfare from a psychological, cultural and spiritual perspective, Simon decided to release his first independent project for the public at large: CUT - Daughters of the West, which is an investigation into cosmetic surgery, feminist sexual liberation, and modern media trends as part of a warped legacy that was being handed to young girls as a foundation for gender ideology to take hold.
