I pushed this track as hard as I could and Is a genre that is delightfully out of my comfort zone.
I used as many advanced mixing techniques as I could on this one having come to grips with Izotope Neutron and Ozone, Mid-Side processing, sidechained reverbs, compression and delay, this track has the lot.
As I produce toatally in the box my CPU melted, children ran for the hills and the Australian government sent me a cease and desist order.

African Wisdom (Life and Love Songs from Mali, Guinea and Mauritania)

Trained at the National Institute of Arts in Bamako for 4 years to then integrate the Ensemble Instrumental du Mali for 2 years and the Badema National of Mali in 2015, Hawa Maiga is a Malian singer who develops original Sonrhai compositions in the language by the famous Ali Farka Toure and Kaira Arby. She draws her inspiration from the banks of the Niger river in Gao. Hawa was supervised by the Kôrê Institute of Arts & Crafts of Ségou through the Kôrè Quality Program Music from 2015 to 2018. She has made several international outings: The Festival sur le Niger, Festival au Désert (Mali), Festival Taragalte (Morocco), Nuits Atypiques de Koudougou and Festival d'Arts Social de Banfora (Burkina Faso), Festival N'Sangu Ndji-Ndji (Pointe-Noire) Congo), Le Kolatier (Cameroon), Le MASA (Ivory Coast)

Rhobodub worked at the first Ukrainian vinyl shop Diskultura and was a part of the Kyiv house scene. Then Thommy moved to L’viv where became a member of the Hypnohouse parties. Overall, Rhobodub performed in 14 countries.

Nowadays, Thommy lives in Chernivtsi—the most architecturally graceful city in Ukraine—manages the Hustlers community, and provides the four sweetest sides of music:

♦ techstep, soulful and liquid drum & bass;
♣ digital dancehall, roots reggae and dub;
♠ West, East and South African music.
