Next Up on the podcast we welcome Tom2Trax who has been a regular at the helm of the Ebloc decks for some time now. An energetic blend of uplifting rhythms touching on Bumpy tech house,  rolling percussive tribalism and feel-good crescendos, we're mega happy with how this one turned out and we're hoping you are too.

"I went for a mix of Detroit sounding house and techno, golden-era UK tech house (the good stuff) and the some funky, percussive, energetic techno. A few dusty gems I’ve been digging over the last few years, as well as some recent cuts. I feel like this mix really sums up my DJ style and is what I’d usually play at my ALLTRAX events at Eastern Bloc."

Sick Beatz is an annual fundraver for the MS Society that has been going since 2017. The event is in memory of the late Wayeta Garrett. Last year Sick Beatz raised £781 for the MS Society. Over several events there will be 76 Techno DJs. This is the fourth event of 2023. It will be on Bassbox Radio www.bassbox-radio.co.uk

The penultimate episode of a stellar first season comes from one of Manchesters more elusive modern techno producers: Arkane. A staple of the north west techno scene - Kane is a real producers producer, with a keen ear for heavy drum patterns, and swinging percussion.

This hour sees Kane touch all bases of techno in 2024: raw intricate grooves, with a smattering of his own unreleased music inside. Be on alert for plenty of great new music coming this year from Arkane.

Rafal aka RaFFski is a young man who visited London for the first time not that long ago. Since then he has been going deeper underground to explore scorching sounds of acid techno.
Managed to neck 15 cans once but it ended up with smashed headphones.
DJ and promoter based in Manchester. With his partner in crime Joe, both are organizing multi genre nights of techno under the banner of Manchester Techno Collective.
Parties involved local talents like TimG, TSH, Kazek and Xela to showcase a vast spectrum of underground electronic music to a broader audience.
They've already shared the stage and decks with Mick Beatle (Havok), Sted Hellvis and Kami Lee.
2025 looks very promising with a joint operation between Manchester Techno Collective and Dirty As Funk Techno kicking off the festival season in Aatma Manchester on 29th of March.
Started his adventure with DJing in 2022 after meeting Kazek in work who made a massive influence on the decision and has been Raf’s mentor since.
Raf made a debut in a series of internet radio shows run by Rachel RC. Shortly after that joined the Dirty As Funk Techno collective run by Jo Fox.
Since then he swapped controller for turntables and works tirelessly to hone skills and deliver the best acid techno in Manchester.
Who knows what the future will bring?
