Coletivo de organizações da sociedade civil lança “Manifesto por Memória e Justiça para Vítimas e Familiares do Massacre do Abacaxis”, que neste ano completa 5 anos de impunidade.

O Massacre ocorreu em agosto de 2020, “em plena pandemia de covid-19, quando em uma operação de vingança e extermínio, operado pela Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Estado do Amazonas, aterrorizou, torturou e matou impiedosamente indígenas e ribeirinhos, moradores das comunidades ao longo dos rios Abacaxis e Mari-Mari, entre os municípios de Borba e Nova Olinda do Norte”, no Amazonas, relata o Manifesto.

Este Coletivo, que acompanha o caso desde o início, levou a 31ª edição do Grito dos Excluídos e Excluídas em Manaus, realizado no dia 5 de setembro deste ano, uma faixa com o nome de cada uma das 8 vítimas do “Massacre do Rio Abacaxis”, em forma de protesto e clamor por justiça.
