LATIDO is proud to present Bicho Raro, the new EP by veteran Spanish producer Undo, a key figure in the country’s electronic scene for over two decades. Known for his emotional approach to club music, Undo delivers three original tracks that showcase his unmistakable flair for strong, memorable melodies and subtle intensity.
From the cinematic drive of “A Shot In The Dark” to the playful weirdness of “Ornitorrinco”, the EP blends warmth, groove and just the right amount of strangeness. The track Ornitorrinco is presented in two different versions, each offering a distinct take on its quirky identity and melodic tension.
The release closes with a remix by Russian producer ODOPT (Private Persons, Born Free), who reshapes Ornitorrinco into a darker, more hypnotic piece, pushing the track into murkier, serpentine territory.

Growing up in a small town where hip-hop ruled the airwaves, I felt like an alien tuning into a different frequency. Late nights were my secret escape. I'd crank up the volume (well, as high as I dared) on 5fm's electronic music show, hurriedly dubbing the tracks onto cassette tapes to revisit the next morning.

This nighttime routine made me fall in love with House music. It wasn't just the fast beats; it was the way artists like Stimming, Black Coffee, Mujava, and Stromae used bits of other songs and changed the speed to create something completely new. Since I couldn't play the music too loud at night, recording them on cassette tapes was the only way to hold onto those fleeting moments of discovery. The next morning, I'd eagerly listen back, dissecting the sounds and melodies, trying to understand the magic at work.

My initial attempts at music creation with Ejays software were frustrating, but the discovery of FL Studio was a game-changer. Learning to cut samples and tweak BPMs unlocked a whole new world – the world of House music production.

My music isn't just fueled by these legendary artists; it's also infused with the unexpected rhythms and textures of small-town life. The quiet moments, the unique characters, the hum of everyday existence – they all find their way into my sonic palette.
