Green Tara Mantra | Ultimate Protection Mantra

This mantra, which helps support the healing of bone fractures, comes from the Sowa Rigpa "mantra pharmacy." Medical mantras are traditionally recited 101x (rather than the standard 108 repetitions of devotional mantras) because in Tibetan medicine there are considered to be 404 classifications of disease/illness, which are then divided into 4 groups of 101 diseases. 

Traditionally, a practitioner trained in Tibetan medicine and/or Tibetan Mantra Healing (which I am) would recite this mantra at least 1000x and prepare "mantrified" substances for the patient to take. When I fractured a bone in my finger in March of 2004, I was basically chanting this mantra around the clock, to accumulate enough mantras to prepare my own substances and mantra water and to blow on the point of fracture.  Then I decided to make a recording of my own recitations, so that I could play it in the background.  And so that other people in need of healing could have this recording as well. 

Please note that playing a mantra in the background is not a required (or even typical) step for working with mantra-healing--usually only the mantra-healer chants on behalf of the patient-- but I've also had a lot of training in Kundalini Yoga, and I love playing mantras in the backfround 24/7. To me, that helps retain an elevated vibration in the environment.  

In Tibetan medicine, we feel that every single sound in nature has a specific healing sound. Every bird call, every insect chitter, has medicinal properties.  So I also included the sounds of various nature-beings in this track (cicadas, crickets, frogs, birds, etc). 

 I also included some deeply resonant singing bowls at 396HZ for bone healing.

My aspiration is to be of benefit to others, so if hearing this mantra helps you on your journey to consciously support the health of your bones, then please share. Western Medicine is wonderful to help set and splint bones; combining the energetic, subtle-body treatment of mantra healing, you'll be helping to support your body's natural tendencies to heal.  

This mantra is also deeply calming, grounding, pacifying and increasing.
