As the sunny days return, it feels like the perfect time to finally share this project I started last year in Bali. I had a lot of fun working on this one — reimagining a classic with a liquid DnB flavor was such a vibe, and diving into the sampling process was especially satisfying. There's something really special about blending Manu Chao’s laid-back energy with fast breaks and deep atmospheres.

Matteo Pasquini (aka PAS), born in 1998, has been DJing in the best clubs in Toscana and Versilia.

Producer, Mix & Mastering Engineer at House of Glass Studios (www.houseofglass.it)

He started producing music in his home studio until when, in 2020, historic 
Italian DJ and producer Gianni Bini wanted him in his team.

In 2020, under the pseudonym PAS, Matteo released his first single “Happy Children” on DWA Records, followed by an official remix for Alexia.

In 2021 Matteo made the official remix for KC and The Sunshine Band’s single “Romantica”.

Matteo’s good skills as producer and remixer, as well as his attention to new sounds, in 2022 led him to remix for the Italian market “All 4 nothing (I’m so in love)” by American star LAUV and to release, teaming up with Gianni Bini (aka House of Glass) a dance-flavored cover version of Tom 
Odell’s global hit “Another love”. 

The track achieved very good results both in Italy (it entered 
EarOne global radio airplay chart) and abroad, especially in France (on rotation on NRJ and Fun 
Radio, it entered the Top 5 Shazam’s Dance chart), scoring over 850.000 plays on Spotify only.

In 2023 he was asked to remix "Don't Cry Tonight" by Savage for the 40th anniversary of the track.
The remix is charted on Beatport on the Indie Dance section and is also supported by big artist like Solomun, Betoko ecc..

creazione di mashup e remix, in grado di fondere brani iconici con nuove sonorità. Con uno stile versatile e in continua evoluzione, i suoi lavori sono riconosciuti e suonati in club e locali di tutta Italia. 

Fin dalla tenera età, ha mostrato un interesse precoce per la musica e il DJing. A soli 8 anni, affascinato dal mondo dei mixer e delle console, ha iniziato a sperimentare con ritmi e melodie, costruendo le basi della sua futura carriera. Nonostante la giovane età, ha iniziato a suonare in vari locali a partire dai 16 anni, dimostrando professionalità e abilità che vanno oltre la sua età. Showgun is an Italian duo formed by Andrea Cuoghi and Alessandro Foschi, DJs and producers from Modena. Their artistic journey begins in 2016, when they become residents at KYl in Modena. This residency gives them the opportunity to perform alongside renowned international artists while also dedicating themselves to their first studio productions. In 2024, after relocating to Milan, Showgun self-releases their debut EP, With Love, a captivating blend of emotive melodies and dancefloor-ready beats. The release marks a pivotal moment in their career, solidifying their reputation in the electronic music scene.
Showgun is also known for their self-curated parties taking its name from their collective, Hug Your Homies.
