I'm sick of the people in the Dariacore community who call their music/other people's music Mashcore and then there's little or no breakcore involved. THIS is what Mashcore actually sounds like! Mashcore ≠ Dariacore.

Anyways... I'm starting a new challenge called #MashcoreBattle!

The entire purpose of this is to get more artists exposed to hearing/making real mashcore. Think of it as a love letter to the genre and the long history it has. How does it work? One person makes a mashcore track and nominates 3 other musicians. Then, the nominated musicians have to make their own mashcore track and nominate other people too. It's meant to set off a little chain of events of people "responding" to the challenge, similar to the war dub and #NOISE_BATTLE on Twitter.

I encourage all you musicians to join in and make your own mashcore tracks! Have fun, get creative, and be sure to use the hashtag #MashcoreBattle in your tags!
