With over one hundred releases spanning nearly 10 years of music, AVA Recordings has become a staple within the Trance scene and has long been at the forefront of releasing top quality music from producers like Andy Moor, Andrew Rayel, Tritonal, Tenishia, Ashley Wallbridge, Ben Nicky, Somna, Orkidea and many more.  

2016 sees a continuation on the path that label owner Andy Moor has set which is to release high quality sustainable music written with passion from A-listers as well as new talent.

Mr. Trancetive stands for a dedicated and loyal passion for all kinds of Dance and Trance music and the wonderful feeling it evokes. Making mashups, edits and megamixes is his core business and his sets are packed with creative and surprising blends.

Mr. Trancetive (pronounce like 'transitive') alias Sjoerd Hoevens was born in 1987 in Haarlem, The Netherlands. From a young age he enjoyed music, especially when listening to the radio. Every Friday afternoon he rushed home from school to tune into the Top 40 to hear the greatest hits of the moment. He became a loyal customer at the local music stores and his CD-collection grew fast. He was often asked to play records at school parties and organized some of them at his parents’ home, which he really loved doing. As he had no DJ-gear but only two stereo sets, his mixing technique was a bit unconventional, blending tracks with the volume buttons and harmonic-mixing them by ear. It helped him develop a sensitive feel for smooth and harmonic transitions. Though he loves all kinds of music, his interest then already went out to Dance music. This was the late 90's/early 00’s, with great artists like ATB, Mauro Picotto, Faithless, 4 Strings, Scooter, Sash!, DJ Tiësto, Milk Inc. and Paul van Dyk.

When he heard John O’Callaghan’s tune Big Sky back in 2007, his love for Trance music skyrocketed and has never left. From that moment he tuned in to Armin van Buuren’s radioshow A State of Trance every single week. After visiting Trance Energy and Armin Only Imagine in 2008, Sjoerd decided to use his passion for Trance as a basis for his own creative interpretation of the genre. He bought his first DJ-gear and started mixing. In 2014 he posted his first mixtape on SoundCloud and in 2015 he started the production of mashups and edits. Since then his mashups got supported by Trance artists like Jorn van Deynhoven, Artento Divini, David Broaders, Johnny L, Tomac, Lazarus and many more. His inspiration comes from Trance artists like Armin van Buuren, Andy Tau, Solid Stone, Giuseppe Ottaviani, U-Mount, Farius, Gareth Emery, Ben Gold, Ashley Wallbridge, Sean Mathews, Omnia and many more.

Today he’s more productive and passionate than ever before and determined to share his love for Trance music with the world. Besides his solo project Sjoerd is also one of the hosts of the Dutch radioshow @Time4Trance and hosting Trance Connection on Afterhours.FM together with his UK based friend Nucrise (@rafa-arendz).

Biografía

Artexx is a 25-year-old Mexican DJ/Producer dedicated to the Techno, Hardstyle, Bigroom and its Edm subgenres. He is dedicated to music production beginning in the year 2022. His life changed the moment he heard Hardwell for the first time, which captivated him with all the production and the entire process he had to become one of the best Producers on the scene. From that moment his dedication to music arises and likewise to be able to create his own essence inspired by his Artist that he admires to this day.

MatricK has swiftly emerged as a prominent figure in the EDM scene, known for crafting music that resonates with immense distinction. His electrifying remix for Armin van Buuren resonated with global audiences, catapulting his recognition to new heights. Having supported Trance Legend MaRLo in 2023 at his world-renowned Altitude show in Melbourne, Kuala-Lumpur, and Jakarta, MatricK's presence had crowds of 8000 ravers exhilarated, with many already eagerly awaiting his return.

In addition to the several collaborations under his belt, including with Australian DJ/producer MaRLo, MatricK’s tracks have been played at festivals globally, such at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, A State of Trance, Transmission, Dreamstate and Creamfields. 

MatricK's sound has continued to evolve, embracing the realm of mainstage techno trance, inviting listeners on a journey that transcends boundaries and sparks euphoria. His music has found a devoted following, with worldwide prominent DJ/producers supporting his work, such as Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, MaRLo, Showtek, Blasterjaxx, Robin Schulz and many more. 

With releases on esteemed labels like Revealed Recordings, Armada Music and Reaching Altitude, MatricK continues to rise, fueled by his consistency and commitment to pushing the boundaries and delivering a fresh perspective to the EDM landscape.

I'm just a guy trying to make people happy! I love to play EDM, from big room techno, big room, progressive right through to trance and hardstyle! 

I've supported legends such as Scooter, Darren Styles, Ben Nicky and Blasterjaxx as a Hellfire resident, and also play a monthly Bottomless Brunch at home in Northwich, which is mainly house, charts and classics (and the vibe is absolutely CLASS!), as well as a residency at my local pub which is a massive mix right through from house to clubland! 

I also play unique private functions, including weddings and birthdays, specifically specialising in dance music!
