Hier mein Rückblick vom Ibiza Aufenthalt im September. Langer Aufenthalt, also auch langer Mix :-)  Wie immer: von wieder mal gehört bis zu absolut neuen Tracks, alles was mir auf der Insel zu Ohren kam. Ob im Hotel, auf Sonica und Co im Radio, in Formentera am Strand oder aufm Boot, im Cova Santa, Las Dalias (Danke, Sven -wie immer), Club Chinois, Pacha, 528 oder Playa Soleil (wirklich oft, da direkt da gewohnt), von allem ist was dabei und wie immer mitnahmebereit für auffe Ohren.
Biddeschön, viel Spaß auf der etwas größeren Inselrundfahrt :-)

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, and deeply rooted in the gritty heartbeat of Southern nightlife, Cameron Clark of Sunset Sessions Hollywood CA is a vinyl-purist DJ with over three decades of experience behind the decks. Known for his unparalleled collection of rare records and signature blends of UK progressive house, deep trance, and Florida-style funky breakbeats, he’s a living historian of underground dance music.

His journey began with humble college parties powered by two CD players, a tape deck, and a two-channel mixer—but the true turning point came in 1995 when he fell in love with vinyl. From there, the sound of crackling grooves and booming basslines became his religion.

    •    Early Days: started clubbing at legendary Southern venues like Masquerade (Atlanta), AAHZ (Orlando), The Edge (Jacksonville,Orlando,Ft Lauderdale), and Pterodactyl (Charlotte),Cameron Clark became a dancing fixture in the breakbeat and rave scenes of the ‘90s.
    •    Vinyl Roots: A devoted crate digger and master of the decks, he built a world-class vinyl collection that spans every genre—always ready to drop heat at a moment’s notice.
    •    Hollywood Bound: In 1998, he moved to Los Angeles and began managing the iconic DMC Records on Melrose Ave. There, surrounded by West Coast legends, he upped his game and refined his technical mastery.
    •    Residencies: Held down the decks at Florentine Gardens and Club Lingerie in Hollywood while rocking underground warehouse parties and pop-up events across L.A.
    •    Style Evolution: While rooted in breakbeat, Cameron Clark evolved his sound to include hypnotic UK progressive house and cinematic deep trance—always staying ahead of the curve.

XEON(BE)
Is a Belgium based electronic music producer & dj.
Passionate about music since early age,where soon the music fever got it's spell on him.
From the age 14 he decided to buy his first turntables and a mixtable. and started with collecting and mixing 90’s oldschool progressive house vinyl records.
he practiced day in and day out, his passion for music.
And played at several 'well known' local bars.
style can best be described as a mixture of progressive,techno,Ethnic and deep melodic House, creating cutting edge sounds.
After the years he take the next step to learn and produce music.
His first EP “Out Of Control “ was released at the end of 2021 on the well known Greek Label Swift Records.
His “Out of Control EP” entered the # 7 position in the highly acclaimed “Best Melodic House & Techno on beatport's Hype Charts” of the month November.
One month after that his second EP “3rd Of July 2022 Remixes” was also released on Swift  Records.
Initially released in 2004 and one of the best selling records, "3rd Of July" on Swift Records.
First one is a deep organic house collaboration by G.Pal and XEON (BE).
The second one is a massive melodic house & techno remix by XEON (BE).
After releasing highly successful singles in 2021 & 2022 on Swift Records ,XEON (BE) returns to the label with a stunning “Lost In Emotions” album.
With 10 outstanding new tracks on "album", "Lost In Emotions" by XEON (BE) is built on a strong rhythmic foundation, while plucked chords provide head-shaking grooves. Beautiful growling basslines and hypnotic synths are combined with bass progression's. “Lost In Emotions” impresses with its driving beats and sublime melodic and hypnotic percussive grooves.

I've been raving for over 50% of my life.  During that time, I've met dreamers, drop outs, everybody in between, and all with a solid 4/4 beat in the background.
