Dieser Song ist eine deutsche Hommage an den Song “Forgot about Dre” von Dr. Dre und Eminem. Dies war nämlich der Song, der Crystal-Ice damals zum Rap gebracht hat. Der Song stand bereits länger auf seiner To-Do Liste. Irgendwann wurde Crystal-Ice auf den Berliner Rapper Maurice aufmerksam, der zahlreiche Songs von Eminem in einer deutschen Interpretation rausbrachte. Die Lyrics und der Flow überzeugten, sodass die Idealbesetzung für diesen Song feststand.
Die Strophen von Crystal-Ice standen bereits fest, als Maurice die Hook und seinen Part geschrieben hat. Daraus ergab sich später schließlich auch der Name des Songs.

Der Songtext ist insgesamt von Selbstbewusstsein, Stilbruch, Ambition und einem klaren “Wir gegen euch”-Narrativ geprägt. In einer Welt, in der Follower- und Streamingzahlen über die Karriere eines Künstlers bestimmen, besinnen sich die beiden Rapper auf die klassischen Werte wie Realness und Loyalität der “alten Schule”, während vielen der aktuellen Rapper ein Mangel an Talent, Arbeitsmoral, Style und Individualität vorgeworfen wird.
